I have seen this passage and read it numerous times, but never really understood the meaning of it. Ezekiel 37: 1-10 [NIV] – The Valley of Dry Bones
The hand of the Lord was on me, and He brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were v
ery dry. He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”
I said, “Sovereign Lord, You alone know.”
Then He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”
So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them. Then He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’” So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet – a vast army. PR Brother Tommy, a trustee of 3R Ministry, had an encounter with the Lord in Puncak, Indonesia, on 24 December 2017, where God also revealed Ezekiel 37 to him. The Lord showed Tommy the “R” symbol and revealed to him that it represents returning to the First Love and reconciling man to God. When Tommy shared his God-encounter with me, I realized that this was a confirmation of the 3R Ministry for me. The 3R Ministry represents the work of the Holy Trinity: Reconciliation to God the Father, Restoration by Jesus Christ, and Revitalization by the Holy Spirit. Father God showed me that there are many dry bones all around us. These dry bones are the backslidden, double-minded, lukewarm, spiritually dry and “half-dead” Christians. All these people have been Christians for years but lost their “First Love”, and many of these have drifted away from God and gone back to ways of the world. We all have to look out for these dry bones and encourage them to return to Father God especially in these challenging times. The Holy Spirit convicted me to start the 3R Ministry on 14 July 2018 for this very purpose. The ministry is to encourage lost Christians to come back home to Father God. It is our mission to reconcile them to God so that they will be restored by Jesus and revitalized by the Holy Spirit. Then, we will encourage them to join the army of God. Life to Dry Bones & Unity to God’s People
Dead Nation Restored to Life
Bones are what remain when life has passed. Dry bones are not only dead, but they have been long dead – totally devoid of any trace of life! Sinews and Flesh came upon them
After the bones were assembled, muscles and tissue came upon the bones. The bones were full of activity, but still did not yet have the breath of life in them. The reviving of the dry bones clearly happened in stages:
Stirring of the bones
Assembly of the bones
Sinews and flesh upon the bones
Skin upon the tissues covering the bones
Awaiting the breath of God
Prophecy to the bones brings Life and Strength. On God’s command, Ezekiel prophesied to the breath – spirit and wind. In essence, he prayed or decreed that breath or spirit would come on these slain that they may live. Breath came into them
The breath of God came into the reanimated bodies. These bodies now became alive and stood on their feet becoming an exceedingly great army. They lived to act under the orders of the one who gave them life. Father God wants us to return back to Him – to be the army of God. He will restore us back to life when we return to Him with a repentant of heart. As an army enabled and empowered by His Spirit, we will be able to bring more souls back to the kingdom before the second coming of Jesus Christ. No. 65B Jalan SS21/37
