Striking the pose last Friday to celebrate a meaningful day - International Women's Day! Meeting over tea and refreshments made with love by women entrepreneurs, we shared stories and discussed the remarkable journey the world has gone through in fighting for equity for women, and in recognizing women for the contributions made and the success women have achieved.

Again, Happy International Women's Day to all women out there! May women continue to inspire change and drive progress in every aspect of life.

It's been an awesome experience working and collaborating with each other in the real world, so we thought it was time for an upgrade to see how the team fares in the virtual world!

Suffice to say our teams (old and new, young and younger), functioned like a well-oiled machine in the virtual realm too - obliterating zombies, racing cars and defeating inhospitable villagers!

Selling illicit streaming devices that provide unauthorised access to copyrighted works constitutes copyright infringement and is an offense under the Copyright Act 1987. You might also be in trouble for possessing unauthorised sources or links to copyrighted works.

Let's do our best to support the people behind the creation of films and programs. Let's watch it the right way!

PETALING JAYA: A total of seven people have been caught and fined for selling TV boxes with unauthorised content since the Copyright (Amendment) Act 2022 came into force.

Throwback to last Friday when DCC Advanz Malaysia Sdn Bhd signed a Declaration to pledge our support in intellectual property matters to all businesses that come through "The Belt and Road" Intellectual Property Collaborative Co-Construction Project. This took place during the China Jiangsu Culture Trade Expo 2023, which was held in Kuala Lumpur over the weekend.

Malaysia is one of the close partners for Jiangsu within the ASEAN region, and China has been Malaysia's biggest trading partner since 2009 and continues to see an increase each year. We are proud to have the opportunity to support the development of both Chinese businesses in Malaysia, and Malaysian businesses in China.

The Festival of Lights is happening this Sunday! Wishing all our friends who are celebrating a Happy Deepavali, and to have a joyous celebration.

In celebration of this beautiful festival, our office will be closed on Monday 13 November 2023. We will resume operations the next day, 14 November 2023.
