✔️Bukit Mertajam Penang: Marriot International and Iconic Group will rebrand the existing Iconic Hotel Penang into Courtyard by Marriott Penang Icon City. Scheduled to open in December 2026, the 196-room hotel forms part of the four-hectare Icon City mixed-use development in Bukit Mertajam.

✔️Penang Island: The century-old 1926 Heritage Hotel Penang has reopened after a RM20 million conservation-led restoration by The Ascott Ltd. This becomes Malaysia's first property under The Unlimited Collection by the Group. The hotel is located along Jalan Burma in George Town, a 78-room boutique hotel that occupies 24 restored heritage houses dating back to 1926.

The purchase includes a 30-storey condominium on a 1.4-acre site opposite The RuMa Hotel & Residences, located right near KLCC and Pavilion KL and the Conlay MRT station. The plan is to redevelop the site into a high-rise luxury residential project.

Non-citizens are legally permitted to purchase property types such as condominiums, serviced apartments, and select landed homes, granting them full rights to lease, sell, or bequeath the asset, as well as use it as bankable collateral.
