WEPsCAL Cohort 1 Closing Event: Innovating the Future of Family-Friendly Workplaces ✨

On 11th March 2026, the IM Possible Solutions (IMPS) team had the privilege of being part of the WEPsCAL Cohort 1 Closing Event, held at UOB Plaza 1, Kuala Lumpur — delivered in partnership with and , under the Gender Action Lab, with the support of the Australian Government

Over the past nine months, 11 organisations came together to reimagine what family-friendly and gender-equal workplaces can look like in practice. The solution varies from care leave benefits and flexible working solutions, to leadership culture shifts, financial wellbeing programmes, and return-to-work pathways.

The closing event featured opening remarks by TalentCorp’s Deputy Chairman and the Political Economy Counsellor from the Australian High Commission, Malaysia. The main highlights of the event are a keynote presentation by Amy Baum (UN Women) showcasing the Malaysia WEPsCAL journey, and a forum session moderated by IMPS Managing Director, , joined by panellists Amy Baum (UN Women), Natasha Alias (TalentCorp), Eena Khalil Lim (Mastrak), Maizatul Mardhiah (Sagemaker), and Sujata (Micron).

✨ Among the powerful lessons from this cohort:
- Context is key: meaningful solutions differ across company size, sector, and employee needs
- ⁠Leadership buy-in accelerates progress
- ⁠Data and accountability build the business case and institutionalise change

A closing Mentimeter survey affirmed what the room already felt: WEPsCAL delivers real value, and companies are already expressing interest in future cohorts. IMPS is proud to have supported Cohort 1 and looks forward to continuing this journey ahead.

Journey to the Development of Malaysia’s SGP OP8 CPS Document: Sabah ✨

On 3 March 2026, the IM Possible Solutions (IMPS) team had the privilege to conduct the final Baseline Assessment Workshop for the Sabah landscape in collaboration with and at Sheraton, Kota Kinabalu. This workshop forms part of our work in supporting the development of Malaysia’s Small Grants Programme (SGP) Operational Phase 8 (OP8) Country Programme Strategy (CPS) document.

The workshop brought together NGOs and representatives from the Sabah state government, including District Officers and various government agencies, to undertake the Socio-ecological Production Landscapes and Seascapes (SEPLS) Baseline Assessment for the region. The session also served as a platform to gather insights and feedback from potential grantees, ensuring that future OP8 interventions are aligned with on-the-ground realities and local priorities.

This session also marked the final baseline assessment across the selected landscapes in Malaysia. The next step will be to finalise Malaysia’s SGP OP8 CPS document, while potential grantees will have the opportunity to engage further at the SGP Malaysia National Conference 2026, to be hosted by UNDP in April 2026.

✨ Journey to the Development of Malaysia’s SGP OP8 CPS Document: Johor & Pahang ✨

On 25 February 2026, IM Possible Solutions (IMPS) team had the privilege to conduct the 2nd Baseline Assessment Workshop for Johor & Pahang landscape in collaboration with and at the AC Hotel, Kuantan. This workshop is part of our work in helping develop Malaysia’s Small Grants Programme (SGP) Operational Phase 8 (OP8) Country Programme Strategy (CPS) document.

The workshop brought together NGOs and representatives from the Johor and Pahang state governments, including District Officers and various government agencies, to undertake the Socio-ecological Production Landscapes and Seascapes (SEPLS) Baseline Assessment for the region. The session also served as a platform to gather insights and feedback from potential grantees, ensuring that future interventions for OP8 are aligned with on-the-ground realities and local priorities.

A solid baseline assessment will guide clear planning and more effective implementation on the ground.

IMPS dijemput ke majlis ini atas kapasiti sebagai pasukan perunding pakar yang terlibat dalam merangka dan membangunkan dasar ini. This process is a crucial step in ensuring the strategy aligns with on-the-ground realities and establishes a clear, coordinated pathway for effective implementation.

We have officially moved in! Welcome to Tunas Suites @ IM Possible Solutions.

After weeks of blueprints, drilling and painting, we are officially operating from our new base in Petaling Jaya. The team is already warming up to the suite since Thursday, running our first physical client meeting of the year. Of course, as a strategic solution firm, we know that the final cherry on top isn’t complete until we’ve given the space its own unique character.

We are currently in a “Soft Launch” mode, adding final touches including;
1. Cupboards to store our pantry items, including premium tea for our future guests
2. Dedicated printing and storage area to keep the space seamless and tidy
3. Paintings and decors to turn our walls into a gallery of ideas and experience
4. Blinds, mirrors, and restroom upgrades for maximum comfort

Why “Tunas Suites”? The name represents a blend of local roots and professional growth; “new growth” of ideas, projects and establishments we plan to nurture here.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to our naming exercise! Those who did can expect a friendly message from us soon for the promised private tour and coffee! ☕✨ Onward to a fruitful and strong year for Tunas Suites @ IM Possible Solutions!

The new IM Possible Solutions Office is nearly done as we enter the final stage of our transformation in Petaling Jaya.

The space is now looking as intended with flooring and ceilings complete, and internal doors and furniture being installed this week. We are also finalising the fit-out for our pantry, rest area, and toilet facilities. Aesthetic elements like blinds and paintings installations will follow shortly after to give this place its own unique identity.

But - we still need help with finalising its name. After reviewing several fantastic suggestions, we’ve narrowed the name down to one core theme: Tunas. The Malay word, Tunas, represents a "bud" or "new growth"—the perfect metaphor for the ideas, projects and establishments we plan to nurture here. However, it is missing the punchy suffix. Which one below you think fits the space most?
