The eve of the Biggest Education Malaysia Infoday Tour commenced with a significant engagement session and dinner in , bringing together the Consulate General of Malaysia in Jeddah, Tourism Malaysia, MATRADE, other key Malaysian stakeholders, and representatives from Malaysian universities participating in the tour.

More than a dinner, the evening served as an important platform to strengthen partnerships, exchange insights, and reinforce Malaysia's commitment towards international education excellence.

It was also an excellent opportunity for our university partners to engage directly with the Malaysian agencies and diplomatic mission in Jeddah as we collectively kickstart our efforts across the Middle East. Amid evolving geopolitical developments, such collaboration reflects our shared confidence in the region's long-term potential and the importance of maintaining strong engagement with students and families across the Kingdom.

As the Education Malaysia InfoDay in Saudi Arabia begins, this collective support reflects the strength of Malaysia's whole-of-nation approach in advancing educational opportunities and building meaningful connections across the Kingdom.

For REXPO, it is another reflection of our commitment over two decades to building trusted partnerships, ostrengthening market presence, and creating impactful platforms that connect Malaysian institutions with students and opportunities worldwide.

Following the overwhelming success of the Education Malaysia Info Day in Chennai, the momentum continued with the "BEYOND BORDERS: Malaysia–India Higher Education Business Networking Dinner".

Jointly organised by the Consulate General of Malaysia in Chennai and REXPO, with the support of Tourism Malaysia, the evening brought together the Malaysian university delegation and a distinguished group of Indian education stakeholders, including international school owners, university leaders, professors, deans, student development organisations, education agencies, and industry representatives.

The evening was graced by the presence of H.E Mr. Saravana Kumar Kumaravasagam, the Consul General of Malaysia in Chennai and led by Mr. Ahmad Rezal Chan - CEO of REXPO, who headed the Malaysian higher education delegation comprising 19 Malaysian universities and institutions.

More than just a networking session, the dinner served as a valuable platform for meaningful dialogue, partnership building, and the exploration of new opportunities between Malaysia and India in the higher education space.

Another strong and positive rollout for in — as we successfully completed our leg of the Yes2Malaysia tour, following the equally encouraging momentum in Hyderabad.

We are grateful for the overwhelming turnout, strong engagement, and on-spot applications received for — with many more applications expected to continue coming in through our post-event follow-up efforts by the team.

As one of the latest Malaysian education event players to enter the India market, we understood the concerns, questions, and comparisons that naturally came with it. However, we believed in doing things the REXPO way — grounded by proper market homework, strategic outreach, and over 20 years of experience in opening and developing international markets.

The feedback from our university partners has been truly encouraging. Many shared that the response exceeded expectations, while several mentioned it was among the strongest India events they have participated in.

With the scale, turnout, and momentum witnessed across the cities in this tour, is fast establishing itself as the Education Malaysia event platform in India.

A strong and encouraging start for our inaugural showcase in , with 'on-the-spot' applications secured for — and many more promising applicants still in active discussion with our team.

The work definitely does not stop here as our team are now active with post-event follow ups, counselling, and conversion efforts to ensure this first edition delivers a 100% success rate for all 19 universities that placed their trust and confidence in REXPO’s global event platform.

Very grateful for the positive response received in , and we are already excited as the India Tour continues to our next destination.

Last night marked the completion of Day 1 of the Virtual Expo 2026 — and the response was beyond what we anticipated.

After months of uncertainty across the Middle East region, it was encouraging to once again see students and parents actively engaging with Malaysian universities in such strong numbers - through our platform!

What stood out most was the of engagement from the very beginning of the event. Multiple university booths experienced packed breakout rooms within the first hour, with some exhibitors quickly calling in additional team members to manage the enquiries and live conversations taking place.

That, to us, is what matters most.

Not noise. Not gimmicks. Not trying to create the illusion of activity.

But genuine engagement, meaningful conversations, and students who are serious about taking the next step towards their future.

We are to all our university partners for the trust they placed in during a challenging period for the region. Your support means a great deal to us, and we are happy to see positive outcomes being delivered together.

Credit also goes to our amazing REXPO team, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the platform remained simple, stable, and focused on user experience. Years of understanding student behaviour taught us that accessibility and ease of communication will always outperform unnecessary complexity.

Having mentioned all this, we are still aware that there is still plenty more work ahead. Onwards to Day 2.
