For more than two decades, En. Hamidi Zakaria has been part of Pekatโ€™ Group's journey. He is now a Branch Manager specialising in Power Protection, based in Johor Bahru.

Over the last 22 years, he has seen Pekat grow in scale and evolve. From supporting E&LP installations to solving challenges on-site, his knowledge has been built through years of hands-on experience. Along the way, he also credits the trust placed in him by Pekatโ€™s management for giving him the opportunity and confidence to grow into a leadership role.

Today, that experience goes beyond getting the job done. It is also about motivating his team and helping them grow.

Hear him share his proudest moments and how years of experience, trust and greater independence have shaped his growth as a leader.

Together, we are Pekat. One team. One purpose.

Neighbourhood malls are part of everyday life, bringing shopping, dining and essential services closer to the communities around them.

Through our Power Generation solutions, Pekat is proud to support KIPMall Desa Coalfields, with a 551.10 kWp solar PV system, transforming available rooftop space into a source of clean, renewable energy.

๐ŸŒณ Did you know? Based on estimated environmental impact, a solar installation of this scale could help:

โ–ช๏ธ Avoid approximately 489 tonnes of COโ‚‚e emissions annually
โ–ช๏ธ Deliver carbon savings equivalent to the annual COโ‚‚ absorption of approximately 8,160 trees
โ–ช๏ธ Achieve emissions savings comparable to taking approximately 106 cars off the road for a year

Beyond reducing electricity costs, solar energy helps commercial properties make better use of their rooftops while supporting long-term sustainability goals.

At Pekat, we believe every rooftop holds the potential to power meaningful change.

Have a rooftop? Let's put it to work. โ˜€๏ธ
