Strengthening a Longstanding Partnership with Scuba Diving International (SDI)

Scubatex Marine & Safety Academy was honoured to welcome Mr. John Fang, Regional Office Manager for Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Northern Indonesia & Taiwan, together with Ms. Anne Low from the SDI Central Indo-Pacific Service Center, to our office.

The visit marks another milestone in the strong and enduring partnership between Scubatex and Scuba Diving International (SDI), a collaboration that has been built on trust, professionalism, and a shared vision of advancing diver education and safety standards throughout the region.
Our journey with SDI began in 2008 when Scubatex became an SDI Certified Dive Center. In 2011, we were further recognised as an SDI 5-Star Instructor Development Centre (IDC), reinforcing our commitment to developing competent divers and professional instructors through internationally recognised training standards.
We are especially proud of our Technical Director, Tn. Hj. Ahmat Najah, who was among the pioneering instructors that introduced the SDI training system to Malaysia's scuba diving industry. Today, he continues to contribute to the industry's growth as one of only 7 SDI Full Instructor Trainers (Trainer & Examiner) in Malaysia, mentoring future instructors and upholding the highest standards of professional diver education.

We sincerely thank Mr. John Fang and Ms. Anne Low for their visit, valuable discussions, and continued confidence in Scubatex Marine & Safety Academy. We look forward to further strengthening our collaboration as we continue producing highly skilled dive professionals and promoting safe, responsible, and internationally recognised scuba diving education.
Together, we are shaping the future of the diving industry, one diver, one instructor, and one generation at a time.
