Pain Stock’s Chef Hirayama’s first-ever workshop in Malaysia was successfully held at Marubishi🙌👍
Before his departure, we had the honor of sitting down for a short interview.

It was more than a demonstration — it was a sharing of philosophy, discipline, and purpose behind every loaf he creates.

Marubishi Malaysia had the privilege of hosting Chef Hirayama , founder of boulangerie, all the way from Fukuoka, Japan, for an exclusive bread demonstration.

Chef Hirayama presented 9 doughs, transforming them into as many as 17 different creations, showcasing remarkable versatility.

Through the demo, Chef Hirayama shared his recipes, his thought process, insights into his techniques, along with his philosophy that defines his bread.

Tasting his creations was a true highlight, but the knowledge he shared was even more invaluable.

The long-awaited Pain Stock Chef Hirayama demonstration is finally coming to Malaysia for the very first time at Marubishi! 🍞✨

Chef Hirayama is also famous for his book on long-fermentation bread, and in this workshop, he’ll share his philosophy on delicious bread – how to bring out the best in flour and ingredients, and what he’s learned from studying starch and pH balance.

You’ll get to see 9 doughs and a total of 13 different breads demonstrated live!
