🔔 UNISUN Stretch Film Trivia Time! 🤩

Did you know that when it comes to purchasing Stretch Film, it is VERY important to ask, "What is the paper core weight?" 🤔

Because very few people know this, but I'll explain it to you very simply and you will understand straightaway. 💡

Ok so, Stretch Film is measured and sold by weight (Plastic quality is also important but today let's focus on the weight profile)

When you buy from hardware shops or mr diy for example, take note of the paper core in the middle. Does it look thin or thicc? (see our photo comparison of 200g vs 600g paper core)

When you minus out the paper core, you get the nett weight. For example below :-

- 1.7kg Stretch Film (minus 600g core) = 1.1kg nett weight
- 1.7kg Stretch Film (minus 200g core) = 1.5kg nett weight

Bro that's a 400g difference! 400g out of 1.7kg is 24% plastic weight difference! That's how some less scrupulous sellers can sell "cheap" stretch film, or "heavy" stretch film to unsuspecting buyers. Just from this example you can see how much 24% difference in cost.

Sometimes in the market you will find sellers using 600g core or even 800g core 😲 be careful ye.

You know like when you buy durian, sometimes you bad luck get the one with super thicc shell, but the durian flesh so little only 😭 yep it's like that with heavy paper cores.

ALL our UNISUN Stretch Film uses the lightest 200g paper core, that's the best bang for your buck!
