ANUGERAH JUARA LAGU 40 — AJL40
What a milestone. What a production. What a team.
Lightwave Concepts is incredibly proud to have been part of AJL40, delivering and managing Sound, Lighting, Backline, Barricades, Production & Technical for one of Malaysia’s biggest nights in music.
From the early planning and preparations, through rehearsals and right up to show day, this was a production that brought together months of work, an incredible team and a serious amount of technology behind the scenes.
For Sound, the show was powered by an L-Acoustics K1 and K2 system, with the entire console and I/O infrastructure running on a full Dante network.
At FOH — Yamaha Rivage PM5 + Yamaha DSP-RX.
Broadcast Band Mix — Yamaha Rivage PM5 + Yamaha DSP-RX.
Broadcast Final Mix — Yamaha CL5.
Monitors — Yamaha Rivage PM5 + Yamaha DSP-RX-EX and 2 units of Yamaha DM7 speaking to 7 units of RIO I/O Racks across the system.
RF saw a total of 92 RF devices deployed across the production, comprising both wireless microphones and wireless in-ear monitoring systems.
Shure Axient Wireless Microphones and Shure Axient PSM Wireless In-Ear Monitoring formed the core of the wireless ecosystem.
And at the heart of the music, our incredible in-house MD Aubrey Suwito, together with the band and pop orchestra.
Groove 72 provided backline solutions for the 38-pc band, featuring Yamaha's flagship PHX drums and the elegance of the Roland GP-6.
For Lighting, more than 396 fixtures were deployed across the production running 21,000 parameters, controlled from 2 units of GrandMA3 consoles with 4 units of GrandMA NPU.
The rig included ACME AECO20, Martin MAC Viper XIP, ALS MegaPointe 480, ALS K25 B-EYE, ALS Photon Color Strike M, ALS Sharpy, ALS SuperDotline and more.
But as impressive as the equipment and numbers are, they only tell one part of the story.
Besides all the equipment and instruments was a team working incredibly hard to make it all happen.
