For those who normally purchase travel insurance together with the air tickets, PLEASE TAKE NOTE!

My client sent me an extract of the notice below which means:
1. Coverage is provided departing from Malaysia
2. Coverage is LIMITED according to policy T&C
3. Return trip is not covered
Please check with insurance provider on details of coverage as benefits differs between insurance companies.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- All travel insurance issued in Malaysia MUST DEPART from Malaysia!
- No travel insurance can be issued when passenger is already overseas and departing from outside Malaysia. This means we cannot issue ONE-WAY insurance departure from China or other countries

Call to action:
- Double check T&C of travel insurance when purchasing together with air ticket
- If coverage is ONE-WAY as mentioned, advisable to purchase a separate travel insurance to cover for the trip
