We are currently seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Field Service Copier Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Copier Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing on-site installation, maintenance, and repair services for our clients' copier machines and related equipment. Your expertise, professionalism, and commitment to delivering exceptional service will contribute to the overall success and satisfaction of our valued customers.
Responsibilities:
Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair services for copier machines, printers, and related equipment at customer locations.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, utilizing your extensive knowledge and experience to implement effective repairs and restore optimal functionality.
Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and cleaning of copier machines to ensure optimal performance and prolong their lifespan.
Provide comprehensive training and guidance to customers on the proper usage, care, and maintenance of copier machines.
Respond promptly to service calls, demonstrating a sense of urgency and prioritizing tasks based on customer needs and service level agreements.
Document service activities accurately and in a timely manner, including equipment condition, repairs performed, and parts used.
Collaborate closely with the service team and other departments, actively sharing knowledge and expertise to resolve complex issues and provide outstanding customer support.
Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices through continuous learning and training opportunities.
Maintain a professional and customer-centric approach in all interactions, consistently delivering exceptional service and fostering strong customer relationships.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Copier Technician or similar role, with a focus on field service.
In-depth knowledge of copier machines, printers, and related equipment, coupled with strong technical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional customer service and communication abilities, with a professional demeanor and the ability to effectively interact with diverse customers.
Self-motivated and resourceful, with the ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet service deadlines.
Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to customer sites as required.
Physical dexterity and strength to lift and move heavy equipment as necessary.
Certification or training in copier machine servicing and repair is advantageous.
