An interview is selling yourself.
Here is a very important formula for everyone:
Value = Results โ Expectations
Many people walk into interview and talk about how good they are, but is it what is expected by the interviewer?
If what you're saying doesn't match what the interviewer is looking for, the value is not there.
The expectation is what the other person want and what they're hiring for.
If your results exceed that expectation, that's your value.
If your results don't address that expectation at all, it doesn't matter how cool you sound.
Before you go into an interview, make sure to check:
๐ What does this company actually need?
๐ What problem are they trying to solve?
๐ And how does my experience add value to that?
Then build your answers around that.
The candidate who understands this will always stand out.
All the best!
