This morning, our CHRO Mr. Aiden Liew, together with Ms. Erina, Manager of the Strategic & Operation (S&O) Team, conducted a series of staff briefings across different units on our updated workplace policies and practices.

The sessions covered our 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲 & 𝐆𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 and Works Committee, revised Employee Handbook, 𝐈𝐓 & 𝐀𝐈 𝐔𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲, 𝐅𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐀𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲, and other important workplace guidelines.

The dinner gathering at La Gaya, IOI City Mall was successfully held on last Friday, bringing together Wezmartian for a meaningful and enjoyable evening.

This gathering was planned through the 𝐁𝐞𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 (formerly known as "Play Hard Committee"), as part of its effort in supporting and designing a more lively workplace experience through digitalisation, better known as 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐙𝐨𝐧𝐞. The initiative aims to go beyond boundaries by making working life more fun, engaging, interactive, while encouraging 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡, 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 among colleagues.

Limited participants enjoyed a wonderful buffet spread featuring Japanese cuisine, Western dishes, teppanyaki, Chinese favourites, steamboat/hotpot, BBQ, and desserts. It was a great opportunity for everyone to relax, enjoy good food, and create memorable moments together beyond the usual work setting.

Wezmart has worked closely with TusStar since before the COVID-19 pandemic, and continues to support Chinese enterprises expanding overseas and penetrating the ASEAN market. Wezmart’s strengths are in helping businesses fulfil compliance requirements and providing advisory support for their growth journey, including localisation, cultural adaptation, and omni-level business advisory.

It was our pleasure to have Mr Wang Fei 王飞总经理, Deputy General Manager of TusStar and General Manager of 𝐓𝐮𝐬𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐚, together with his teammate from China, visiting us today. In our discussion, we explored how Wezmart could assist TusStar’s pool of invested talents in entering the Malaysia market through government support infrastructure, incentives, and strategic advisory — particularly for robotic businesses that can help improve manufacturing productivity. We also discussed the potential of B2C robotics solutions that support general business activities, which may materialise in the future, with Wezmart looking into possible collaboration in this segment.

The discussion further explored how Wezmart and TusStar’s existing ecosystems could converge, complement, and reinforce each other to create stronger cross-border opportunities between China, Malaysia, and ASEAN.
