⚠️ Important Reminder: Protect Your AutoCount Data ⚠️
Recently, we have encountered several cases where businesses suffered factory fires, resulting in the complete loss of their computers, servers, and AutoCount data.
We would like to remind all users that AutoCount On-Premise versions do NOT automatically back up data to the cloud. If your backups are stored only within your office or factory premises, they may also be lost in the event of fire, theft, flood, hardware failure, or other disasters.
Many businesses underestimate the impact of data loss. An AutoCount database is not just accounting data—it represents years of work contributed by multiple departments, including:
• Finance & Accounts
• Sales & Customer Service
• Purchasing
• Operations
• Warehouse & Inventory
• Supply Chain Management
When data is lost, it is not simply a matter of restoring software. Companies may need to recreate customer records, supplier information, stock balances, outstanding transactions, historical reports, and many other critical business records. In some cases, certain information may be impossible to recover.
Please take a moment to review your backup strategy:
✅ Ensure regular backups are being performed.
✅ Keep backup copies in a separate location.
✅ Consider cloud or offsite backup solutions.
✅ Periodically test your backup restoration process.
Remember: Hardware can be replaced. Buildings can be rebuilt. But years of business data and effort may be impossible to recover without a proper backup.
If you are unsure about your current backup setup, please contact us and we will be happy to assist.
Stay safe and protect your business data.
