Last week we partner up with the team from 1980 Boom Cha Brew HQ for the World Kombucha Day hosted by our friend and customer; Farm Cafe Batu Caves. With full loads of knowledge shares by the Boom Cha Team and their invites; our CEO, Chef Wan Rathnor to give talk on Kombucha mixes and their benefits to the business owners.

Part of the events is a mocktail challenge participate by owners of top F&B players such as Mr. Mior from MiosKitchen, Ms Abira from Chabangang, Mr Deva from Lazette, from Brix Kitchen, from Suma Coffee and many more! We are proud to sponsor all those syrups and mixes for everyone to create their own mocktails.

The event ends at 6.30pm with a joyous and fruitful evening.

The Saudagar Team is proud to introduce Royal Perak, a local blend that has been a staple in the royal palace of Perak for quite some time (and to this very day). Perak has always been a coffee state and this blend is the culmination of careful husbandry, harvesting, processing, and roasting of the Robusta beans. To elevate the Robusta beans, we have roasted it with special ingredients, blended it with Arabica beans and perfected the ratio of Arabica-to-Robusta to give this blend an especially unique aroma with a thick & strong "Malaysian Kopi" taste.

The inexpensive price is possible due to the "less desirable" misnomer of Robusta – compared to its more popular cousin, Arabica. Critics often describe it as tasting of burnt rubber. Not sexy advertising. An Arabica and Robusta blend? Bertuah Punya Miker!

Yet, it’s the second most traded kind of coffee in the world.

And keep this in mind:
The quality and the complexity are very much influenced by several factors: the particular variety of the plant, its husbandry, harvesting, processing, and roasting. The care and attention taken during each of these steps are what turns a mundane beverage into a rich and unique experience.

The preparation is simply a 1-minute brew using French Press, cloth filter, or even "Kopi Bancuh Penapis" with a recommended ratio of 10g to 250g, coffee to water.

These prized Robusta beans have been carefully roasted with extra special ingredients by our talented local roasters.
