Fair performance evaluations start with clear expectations, accurate ratings, and consistent standards. Managers play a key role in ensuring that employees’ contributions are assessed objectively and discussed constructively.
Through the 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒓 𝑬𝒏𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒑: 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑵𝒆𝒘 𝑷𝒆𝒓𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑭𝒓𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌, participants from 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐝𝐧 𝐁𝐡𝐝 explored how to apply the Performance Management System (PMS) framework consistently and improve the accuracy of KPI ratings.
The workshop also covered participation in calibration discussions to align rating standards across departments, alongside approaches to conducting fair and effective evaluation conversations.
Participants examined common rating errors and biases, building awareness of how these can influence assessments and how to reduce their impact on evaluation decisions.
