JOB SUMMARY
The Production Engineer coordinates and expedites the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to daily and weekly production schedules. Duties include reviewing and distributing production work, shipment schedules, and M&E related tasks; conferring with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates; inventory levels, and solving production problems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate production and sales - Ensure accuracy and timeliness of daily production and sales updates, with regular reporting.
• Plan production schedule and assess demands - Develop and maintain highly accurate production schedules and forecast raw material needs.
• Quality - Analyse production data, reduce defect rates, and propose effective improvement plans.
• Monitor and control production progress - Track and report production progress to ensure on-time delivery.
• Material – Plan and manage raw material requirements to ensure uninterrupted supply.
• Communication – Communicate clearly, listen actively, and adapt communication styles effectively.
• Self-starter – Take initiative, assume responsibility, and demonstrate problem-solving ability.
• Proactive – Anticipate challenges, act promptly, and ensure timely problem resolution.
• Critical thinking – Apply logic and analysis to make sound decisions while keeping an open mind.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: Minimum SPM with technical certificate, Diploma or relevant working experience
Experience: Minimum 2 years' working experience, preferably in Manufacturing or Production Operation.
Skills:
• Familiar with Manufacturing Processes & Proactive in Data Follow-Up and Communication
• Over one year of hands-on experience in injection molding, with solid knowledge of production flow and quality standards. Able to independently identify missing information and coordinate with relevant staff to complete data collection without supervision.
• Basic Computer Proficiency & Detail-Oriented and Accurate.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel for general data entry and form creation. Maintains high accuracy in data entry with strong habits in record-keeping and tracking.
• Strong Sense of Responsibility and Reliability & Quick Learner, Open to Training.
• Long-term and stable team member with a high level of accountability and trustworthiness in task ex*****on.
• Willing to learn new tools or systems such as ERP or advanced Excel to support data-related responsibilities.
• Proactive, result oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Eager to learn and gain experience
