Folding Gate Maintenance

Folding Gates consist of multiple folding sections connected by hinges and linkage arms.

Because they have more moving parts, regular maintenance is especially important.

1. Inspect Folding Hinges

The hinges are constantly moving during operation.

Check for:

🧰Rust
🧰Wear and tear
🧰Loose fittings
🧰Bent components

Replace damaged hinges promptly.

2. Check Linkage Arms

Linkage arms coordinate the folding movement.

Inspect for:

⛓️‍💥Bending
⛓️‍💥Cracks
⛓️‍💥Loose connections

A damaged linkage arm can affect the entire gate operation.

3. Ensure Proper Panel Alignment

Folding Gates must fold evenly and smoothly.

Check for:

🔧Uneven folding
🔧Panels rubbing against each other
🔧Misaligned sections

Early adjustment can prevent costly repairs later.

Sliding Gate Maintenance

Sliding Gates operate by moving left and right along a track.

1. Keep the Track Clean

The track is one of the most important components of a Sliding Gate.

Leaves, sand, stones, dirt, and debris can obstruct the gate's movement and put extra stress on the motor.

Recommended:

✔ Inspect the track weekly

✔ Remove leaves and debris

✔ Sweep or vacuum the track regularly

✔ Increase cleaning frequency during rainy seasons

A dirty track can significantly shorten the lifespan of your motor.

2. Check the Rollers

Rollers support the weight of the gate and ensure smooth movement.

Look out for:

✔ Uneven movement
✔ Excessive noise
✔ Gate wobbling
✔ Gate sagging

It is recommended to inspect the rollers every 6 months.

3. Inspect the Gear Rack

The gear rack connects the motor's drive gear to the gate.

Check for:

✔ Loose screws
✔ Cracks or damage
✔ Misalignment

A damaged gear rack can lead to premature motor wear.

Sliding Gate 保养教学

Sliding Gate 是马来西亚最常见的 Auto Gate 类型之一，通过轨道（Track）左右滑动开关。

保养重点一：保持轨道清洁

轨道是 Sliding Gate 的生命线。

‼️树叶、沙石、小石头、泥土等杂物进入轨道后，会增加马达负担。

建议：

每星期检查一次轨道
清除树叶和杂物
用扫把或吸尘器清理轨道
雨季增加检查频率

如果轨道长期积满沙石，马达会长期超负荷运作。

保养重点二：检查滚轮

滚轮负责支撑整个大门重量。

出现以下情况时需要检查：

推动时不顺畅
‼️出现异响
‼️门体摇晃
‼️门体下沉

建议每6个月检查一次滚轮状态。

保养重点三：检查齿条（Gear Rack）

齿条是连接马达与大门的重要部件。

检查：

‼️是否有松动
‼️是否出现断裂
‼️固定螺丝是否牢固

发现问题应尽早处理，避免损坏马达齿轮。
