The sector is established to develop and implement policies related to biostatistics and repository data, to develop strategic plans for biostatistics and data repositories, to provide consulting service in the field of biostatistics and repository data, in accordance with NIH policies and objectives of the Ministry of Health Malaysia. Expertise in the field of epidemiology and biostatistics is focused on leading NIH in biostatistics, research methodology, statistical software usage, data analysis and repository data management for NIH. Centering this expertise is a step towards optimizing human resources to ensure the best provision of research services in MOH.
