No words can describe the feeling of losing a place we call home. One of the pioneer field operator in the country and we can say the only field that went all out to fight to the very end for all paintballers on the marker issue.

Our comrade, associate, fellow member and friend in the paintball operator community. They have directly and indirectly helped us in many things and for that, we thank you Cyberjaya Paintball Park.

We believe this is not goodbye. Let's just put it in our minds that they are relocating and coming back stronger. That is what we hope and believe. Many memories was shared there and hopefully we will share more at their new home. InsyaAllah. Amin.

NL Draco Paintball Club dengan julung kalinya mengajurkan kejohanan paintball untuk kategori ROOKIE dan VARSITI. Kejohanan ini terbuka kepada semua pemain-pemain baru dan pelajar-pelajar daripada IPTS / IPTA / Institusi Pendidikan Tinggi / Institusi Latihan Kemahiran di seluruh Malaysia. Kejohanan ini akan bertempat di Nemesis Legion Paintball Academy pada 20 & 21 Jun 2026.

Objektif kejohanan ini bertujuan untuk pembangunan sukan di peringkat akar umbi dan memberi pendedahan kepada orang ramai tentang Paintball di Malaysia dan luar negara. Selain itu, kejohanan ini juga menjadi platform untuk mencungkil dan mengasah bakat baru menjadi barisan pelapis kepada para atlet sukan paintball negara yang sedia ada.

KEJOHANAN PAINTBALL PERINGKAT KOMUNITI SELANGOR & TERBUKA VARSITI 2026

NL Draco Paintball Club is organizing our first paintball tournament for ROOKIE and VARSITY category. Rookie category is open to public for participants with no tournament experience and Varsity category are for students from IPTS / IPTA / Higher Education Institutions / Skills Training Institutions throughout Malaysia. This tournament will be held at Nemesis Legion Paintball Academy, Shah Alam, Selangor on 20 & 21 June 2026.

The objective of this tournament is to develop the sport at the grassroots level and provide exposure to the public about Paintball in Malaysia and abroad. In addition, this is also a platform to unearth and hone new talents to become the next generation of national paintball athletes.

Rookie Category Prizes (Registration RM200/team)
🥇 First Place: RM600 cash + Trophy + Medal
🥈 Second Place: RM400 cash + Medal
🥉Third Place: RM200 cash + Medal
🥉Fourth Place: RM100 cash + Medal

Our representatives will be travelling to Pasir Gudang this weekend participating in The International Paintball Pasir Gudang Mayor's Cup 2026 together with the Malaysia Paintball League (MPL) 2026.

Unfortunately we will not be opening our booth at the event but if you would like to order specific equipment or gears, please contact us directly and we will bring them down. If you need any repair or replacement parts for Dye products, kindly inform us earlier but subject to parts availability and charges. Our technicians will be occupied mostly in the morning sessions due to games, but do find them around the field and they will assist you.

For those interested in trying DYE Paintball's DSR Pro and MXR, find us at the event and we will arrange for a test. Talk to our technician or NL Draco Paintball Club players if you want to have a go at these markers. Try it out, you'll be amazed!

Alhamdulillah.

Our first MPRO Marshalling Course Level 1 & 2 for UMPSA Malaysia. A great reception with more than 100 student applications but only 10 were chosen to participate. Hopefully we will have more courses in the future and who knows, maybe from other educational institutions.

The 2 day course was led by one of Malaysia Paintball Referee Organisation ( MPRO ) Official Board’s finest, Marshall Rosdee. Along with a special appearance of a few seasoned marshals, all participants had the full experience of becoming a paintball marshal from the history to the current situation of the sport. Their vast experience and knowledge made it easy for students to get the most out of this course and surely something not to be missed.

With the presences of Arif Toyib Samad, representative from Nemesis Legion Paintball Academy & NL Draco Paintball Club, students were exposed to the full experience of paintball. With the experience of having all standpoint from being a marshal, a field operator, a player, a tournament organizer, a retailer, and a trainer, participants have a clearer picture as how big the industry is and the options, they can choose within the boundaries of paintball.

Students we provided with all the necessities to keep them energized from the moment they arrived until the moment they left the field. A successful event which we proudly certify all the participants with greater knowledge that they can use in their future endeavors.

Hopefully we will see them again in the fields, at tournaments or even at a weekend training session.

We are already getting enquiries for the next session and maybe it could be a road trip to their place. Fingers crossed.

And for all players who was interested to join, NLPA and MPRO are working on a special course for players to know and understand the rulebook to become a better player.

Again, thank you UMPSA for trusting us and the opportunity.

Thank you MPRO for providing us with the best platform to one day, make Malaysia the paintball hub of Asia, we once were.

Getting a lot of enquiries from players to join this course.

Apologies for the closed event. This is purely for newbies to the sport with the whole detailed history of paintball. Its gonna be a total snooze fest for players, I can assure you.

Let’s see how many are interested and we will work something out with Malaysia Paintball Referee Organisation ( MPRO ) Official Board to create a course for players.

An experience paintball marshall once told me, “A player that knows the rules front and back, in and out, is the best player to have”.

After a long 2 months break, we are back to the fields and what better way to start with a dream venue for any paintball game. SMPL - Straits of Malacca Paintball League, 2nd Leg, Port Dickson organized by COD Paintball Port Dickson. A 5-minute walk away from the beach, surrounded by many eateries, artificial turf field, pro-shops from local and abroad, it’s a loss if you missed it.

We were there with our DYE Paintball DYE ASIA products and Tech Support. It was our pleasure and hope we have given an impact during the weekend but enough about us, we are here to celebrate the achievements of our home teams and players. So, let’s go!!!

PREMIER DIVISION

NL Draco Paintball Club
Only one (1) Division 1 player is allowed to play in the Premier Division. Our players, Safieq Awe & Syazani Roslan played for Southern-X & EJPC Junior respectively and both of them went to the finals. It was an intense final game that was won by Southern X. Congratulations to both teams.

Racun Nusantara Paintball team
The boys were back with one mission and one mission only, to defend the title they won in Penang. Playing solid in the group stage, they were at the right path but their luck ended in the semi finals losing to the champions of the tournament, Southern X. Congratulations to RACUN NUSANTARA for being able to maintain their great performance with another podium finish.

Noboru Paintball Club
From strangers to teammates, this is the best way to describe this team. A debut participation in SMPL, team Noboru with the combination of players from team UnknownX, another powerhouse team from NLPA. One of the favourites to claim the championship but they fell short of reaching the finals losing to EJPC Jr. Whatever the results, we are still proud of their achievements and hopefully they will get better results in the 3rd leg. Congratulations NOBORU!

Loco Legion
Another team from NLPA. A rather new team with no fear. Bulldozing their way into the premier division with one aim on their mind, TO LEARN. No matter what the results from the first or second leg, they have made us proud just by taking the challenge of playing in a higher level. Back to the drawing boards Loco Legion and come back stronger for the 3rd Leg of SMPL.

OPEN MECHANICAL DIVISION

Alpha Paintball Team - Malaysia
First runner up at the 1st leg of the series in Penang, losing the finals with a 1v1 match, they were one step away from winning their first championship in 2026. So, this time, it’s serious. Maintaining their aggressive gameplay, they played like they had nothing to lose and with that, they were crowned the Open Mechanical Champions of SMPL 2nd Leg 2026. Not only that, their snake player, Ammar was also crowned the division’s MVP. Congratulations ALPHA X & Ammar!


ROOKIE DIVISION

Dominion Legion
A team from the huge family of Loco Legion, Dominion Legion is our representative in the Rookie Division. Toe dipping in their first committed tournament from the first leg in Penang, they are still finding their way into the rankings to reach their first podium. It may be just around the corner, let’s keep on working for it. LET’S GO DOMINION LEGION!

Vanguard Legion
Another team from the Loco Legion clan & missing out in the first leg in Penang, Vanguard Legion went to the second leg guns blazing and to their surprise, they managed to get 4th placing on their debut. An achievement that needs to be celebrated. Congratulations VANGUARD LEGION and keep up the great work!

Lastly, our boys were going all out at this event. Having up to 6 players competing in the Midnight King 1on1. Everyone had their favourites but for us, it was hard to predict. We have Safieq Awe, Nemesis Legion’s and paintball legend. Next is our young dragon, Syazani Roslan with his explosive snapshooting. Another big name in paintball 1v1, the 2024 N1V1C Champion, Arif Danial. We also have Vimal Kumar, the N1V1C 2025 participant also in the competition. Not to forget two representatives from Loco Legion, Zhafran and Muiz, for their first experience in 1v1s. Who would you choose? Well, ladies and gentlemen, here are the results.

1st Runner Up – Vimal Kumar

Congratulations to all the winner, and great effort to all that didn’t make it. We would say SMPL 2nd Leg, Port Dickson is what all paintballers are looking forward to a tournament. A great play venue, tons of eateries, friendly organizers and a walking distance to a healing play tourist spot. A standard set high by COD Paintball Port Dickson. Congratulation’s organizers!

WHAT A ROADTRIP WEEKEND!

A massive thank you to everyone who stopped by the Nemesis Legion Paintball Academy & Dye Tech Support booth at SMPL - Penang. From the gear junkies to the first-timers, meeting old and new faces was the highlight of the event. Time spent hanging out with players and organizers, old friends and new blood was a blast. Had an opportunity dealing with parents sending their kids playing for the first time, getting them new gears, and hanging out with other vendors. Food was amazing as usual when it comes to Penang.

To the organizers at SMPL - Straits of Malacca Paintball League, OFV Paintball Park Penang & Pymc Muzchik Ofv, thank you for putting together such a great environment for us.

Not to forget, huge thanks to Ellen & DYE ASIA DYE Paintball for rushing all of our shipment to make it for the event. Everyone was surely excited with the new i3 Pro and FLX Gloves.
