On May 11, 2026, Havi Logistics Hong Kong marked a major milestone in sustainable cold chain transportation with the launch of Hong Kong’s first 24-ton fully electric refrigerated truck. Officially handed over by Mercedes-Benz Trucks Hong Kong, the new Mercedes-Benz eActros 400 represents a significant step forward in advancing low-carbon logistics solutions across the region.

Equipped with the Thermo King EV1200, the Mercedes-Benz eActros 400 combines advanced electric refrigeration technology with high operating efficiency, enabling a new standard for sustainable cold chain road transport. This innovative solution supports customers in accelerating their environmental objectives while contributing to Hong Kong’s 2035 decarbonization target.

With a driving range of up to 300 km on a full charge, the eActros 400 is well suited to regional logistics operations and daily multi-point delivery routes, offering both environmental benefits and practical performance for modern distribution needs.

Thermo King Malaysia Local Dealer participation in the 18th Edition of 2025 FHM – Food & Hospitality Event (23-26 September) in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre

The FHM-Food & Hospitality is the largest and longest-running international trade exhibition in Malaysia for the food, beverage, and hospitality industries. It is a premier B2B event that serves as a major marketplace and networking hub for professionals across the region. The 18th Edition of FHM took place on 23-26 September in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
Thermo King Malaysia local dealer Composites Truck Body attached great importance to this exhibition, coordinated internal resources, and worked closely with the TK MSH for event participation to promote THERMO KING, increase its visibility and deliver product values proposition especially T-1280E, the Legend L-1880 trailer & EV580 & 580S to cold chain industry in Malaysia. During the exhibition, Composites received high response and recognition from existing and new customers. Composites will follow up sales leads from the potential customers collected at the exhibition and strive to transform them into business.

HKTV Mall introduced Hong Kong’s First EV re**er truck powered by Thermo King EV580 Spectrum.

Last year, HKTV mall introduced Hong Kong’s first EV re**er truck, featuring the Foton eAumark 5.5 tons model and 15 ft re**er box powered with Thermo King EV580 Spectrum, a multi-temperature system. The customer’s feedback on the EV580 Spectrum has been overwhelmingly positive, highlighting its exceptional performance, lighted E-maintenance, intelligent electrification, high reliability, and sustainable design features. Encouraged by these benefits and Hinge dealer excellent pre-sales and post sales services, the customer has decided to further embrace a smarter and greener future by procuring an additional 5 units of EV580 Spectrum this year, with more units slated to join their fleet in the near future.

📌 Thermo King Power Seminar Event: A Resounding Success

On 12th December 2024, our esteemed Composites dealer organized the highly anticipated Thermo King Power Seminar Event in Malaysia, focusing on the crucial topic of “Present and Future Cold Chain Transportation.” The seminar received an overwhelmingly positive response, drawing an attendance of over 100 participants from various sectors, including end users, cold chain logistics companies, truck dealers, OEM box manufacturers, and contractors.

The morning session was a triumph, featuring a hybrid presentation format. Mr. Leslie Goh delivered an engaging onsite presentation, complemented by remote presentations from Mr. David and Mr. Samuel from China. This approach allowed for a seamless exchange of ideas and insights. Following the session, non-Thermo King customers expressed their admiration for our Thermo King product value propositions. Our dealer team will be diligently following up with these potential clients on their upcoming re**er truck projects.

In the afternoon, Mr. Richard from China provided exceptional support during the service workshop, addressing Composites truck dealer’s nationwide sales and service partners (a total of 14 companies participation) through a remote presentation. This session underscored our commitment to service excellence and partner support.
