𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗼𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗼𝗽.

* SOC (State of Charge) is how much water is left inside.
* DOD (Depth of Discharge) is how much you've already used.

But here's the part most people don't realise.

The more you drain it every day, the faster it wears out. Avoid discharging below 10% at high current draw. The same goes for charging, avoid high current charging once your battery is above 90%.

So what's the sweet spot?
Keep your SOC between 10% and 90% for daily use. Your battery lasts longer, and your equipment stays reliable.

𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗳 𝗯𝘂𝗴𝗴𝘆 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝘂𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻.

Loose or corroded terminals interrupt the current flow between battery and cart. The buggy cuts out unexpectedly or performs inconsistently. The battery looks fine. But power isn't reaching where it needs to go.

Regular terminal checks take minutes. Ignoring them can shorten battery life significantly.

It's actually a two-stage process. And each stage has a job to do.

Think of it like a race car flooring the accelerator. The charger pushes full current into the battery from 0% to 80%. Fast, straight and no holding back.

𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝟮: 𝗖𝗩 (𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲)
At 80%, the driver releases the throttle and lets the car glide to the finish line. The charger locks the voltage and the current gradually tapers to zero. The battery fills up safely to 100%.

Both stages work together. Miss one and your battery overcharges, overheats and wears out faster.
