As some of you may be aware, I am the President of the Malaysian eCaring Communities Association (MeCCA) - registered in Malaysia as Persatuan Masyarakat eSayang Malaysia (PPM-010-14-29112021).

Since our inception, we've collaborated with many to carry out welfare and personal development activities. You can see some of these activities in links in the comments section below.

For the coming year, we would like to build a cohesive self-study program for challenged communities so that they can upskill themselves and participate better in this age of artificial intelligence.

For this to be really effective, we need to do this full time. As such, we're trying to raise RM 250,000/- for the coming year for a small team to do this.

For the coming year, we would like to build a cohesive self-study program for challenged communities so that they can upskill themselves and participate better in this age of artificial intelligence.

To do so, we will be working with other NGOs and government departments in the region. The same program can be of value to individuals seeking to upskill themselves as these are self-study programs prepared and designed by HRDC-certified trainers and coaches.

For this to be really effective, we need to do this full time. As such, we're trying to raise RM 250,000/- for the coming year for a small team to do this.

So we - or I - am asking that you contribute RM 22 (RM 10 registration + RM 12 annual fee) to eSayang for an Independent Associate Membership either for yourself or for charity (meaning, it will pay for someone from a challenged community who can't afford RM 22).

Independent Associate Members get:
- Automatic subscription for tips, ideas and resources from Subject Matter Experts on social entrepreneurship, business and careers;
- Via WhatsApp and Telegram groups, participation in our Angel Network that shares jobs, training and business opportunities;
- Opportunity to invest into a project for deserving candidates to upskill themselves for entry into sustainable businesses or the workforce;
- Opportunity to earn revenue from the Member-get-Member program;
- Access to the self-study Reaching Independence via Specialised Empowerment (R.I.S.E.) program, where one can learn selected HRDC-level courses independently;
- Get certified for jobs or incubation-based funding opportunities in this age of artificial intelligence;
- 1 seat on any online course / training program conducted by our partner organisations worth RM 999/- per day;
- 1 coaching session with our resident coach on business or career needs for 40 minutes worth RM 199/-; and,
- an opportunity to be selected into a 2-year Incubation program on how to successfully enter into sustainable businesses or the remote services workforce.

We’re looking for a Virtual Executive. Someone independent, reliable, and patient.
Scope:
It's a flexi-time between 10am-10pm (Malaysian time +8hrs GMT) Mon-Sat remote part-time position (20 hours a week), and the scope of work covers any kind of work that can be done remotely; however at present the available jobs include:
Telemarketing: mass emailing, clearing up invalid emails, responding to and following up with clients until completion, updating CRM accordingly, etc.
Content Management: modifying, editing, and updating content into online publications we own or are requested to participate in, content design as and when requested, etc.
Social Media: posting and scheduling daily content on all our social media channels, increasing and managing participants, connections and followers, etc.
Administrative Support: specialized administrative support for our clients, which includes outsourced HR, bookkeeping, documentation preparation, and submission, etc.
Remuneration:
The allowance for this is RM 500 a month (or your currency equivalent) + 10% of monthly profit-sharing*.
*(a profit-sharing partnership agreement for duration of annual contract will be put in place after the 3rd month)
Organisation Information:
The organisation you will be working with is Persatuan Masyarakat eSayang Malaysia (in English, Malaysian eCaring Communities Association). It is a welfare-based NGO dedicated to creating a caring economy (what eCaring stands for), and how we do it is by helping everyone live sustainably.
As a result of us being an NGO, you will not be paid a salary but an allowance, as is usually the case with Malaysian NGOs - so if you’d like EPF or SOCSO, we’ll help you apply but it will be at your own cost. However, as our initiatives bring in more results, we can also look into medical card and other benefits in due course - but this is purely dependent on our results, which you will be tracking.

We're looking for part-time Business Support Associates. Our Associates:
- handle mini-projects from beginning until completion;
- possess a high amount of personal integrity and a sense of dedication to seeing a job well done; and,
- pitch only for jobs that they can do, as training is minimal and/or through self-learning.

They are posted there as we receive them, and Associates will be notified through a Telegram channel for latest job assignments. You then pitch for jobs, and if selected, must complete the job within the agreed timeframe.

NOTE: As a Malaysian association, we are obligated by law to only pay allowances and not salaries for completed activities only.

Even though we're sharing Taylor's Raya greeting to wish you Eid Mubarak, our intention is the same as theirs - to help challenged communities.

So this year let's donate to help more than 1, 000, 000 Malaysians who've lost their jobs in the past 2 years due to the pandemic.

Our target is to collect RM 1, 000, 000/- (we could say 1 ringgit a person) from deserving B40, lower M40 and challenged communities, including graduating students.

The donations collected will be used to provide the supporting framework for selected participants from these communities via training and business support services.
