The Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) has announced, in conjunction with the migration and upgrading of both the Malaysian Business Reporting System (MBRS) and the Corporate Reporting System (CRS), an exemption from the Late Lodgement Fees for the following submissions:

• Malaysian Business Reporting System (MBRS): Submission of Annual Returns and Financial Statements from 1 July 2026 to 31 August 2026.

• Corporate Reporting System (CRS): Statutory submissions relating to company updates and changes from 14 July 2026 to 30 September 2026.

The exemption will be granted automatically, and no application is required.

Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) has introduced the Compliance Clinic and Statutory Documents Lodgement Recovery Campaign 2026 to assist companies facing difficulties in fulfilling their compliance obligations under the Companies Act 2016.

This programme provides companies with the opportunity to obtain direct advisory services from SSM officers, as well as to undertake recovery actions for outstanding statutory documents such as Annual Returns (AR), Financial Statements (FS), and Beneficial Ownership (BO) information.

Through this initiative, companies are given the opportunity to regularise their compliance status within a reasonable timeframe while also enhancing their understanding of corporate responsibilities and obligations.

13 May 2026 — Mass was privileged to be part of the FSPP TRACE Program held at UiTM Cawangan Negeri Sembilan, Kampus Seremban, organized by the Corporate Administration Student Society (CASS).

The program provided a meaningful platform to connect with students through career exhibitions, networking sessions, and industry sharing on Corporate Administration and Governance. It was also a great opportunity to engage with students interested in internship placements and future career opportunities within the industry. The enthusiasm and positive engagement throughout the event truly reflected the potential of future industry leaders.
