✨An Evening of Appreciation with WWF-Malaysia✨

On 12 November 2025, Koperasi LKSS Board of Directors and staffs attended an Appreciation & Recognition Dinner hosted by WWF-Malaysia at L.A. Hotel, Tawau.

We were pleased to be joined by Senior Advisor of WWF-Malaysia, Dr. Glyn Davies along with Mr. Alfred Yee, former Koperasi LKSS Director.

The evening was a meaningful opportunity to reflect on our shared journey with WWF-Malaysia — working together to support smallholders in sustainable palm oil production and the certification process.

We were deeply honoured to receive a Certificate of Recognition from WWF-Malaysia, with Mr. Alfred Yee also recognised for his important contributions to this shared journey

🌿 LKSS Medium-Size Group 1st MSPO Surveillance Audit 2025 Completed 🌿

We’re pleased to share that our Medium-Sized Growers Group has successfully completed the 1st MSPO Surveillance Audit 2025 on 31 October 2025! ✅🎉

We sincerely appreciate the cooperation and support of our members, especially those who were part of the audit sample. Your readiness and responsiveness helped ensure the process ran smoothly, contributing to Koperasi LKSS’s ongoing efforts to promote sustainable practices. 💚🌱

🚪 Sunday & Public Holidays: Closed

🦺 Occupational Safety & Health Coordinator (OSH-C) Training
📅 18–20 August 2025
🏨 Borneo Royal Hotel, Tawau

Over 3 days, 24 LKSS members took part in the OSH-C training to strengthen knowledge on workplace safety and health. Guided by certified trainer Ms. Lo Men Way from The Best Management Solution Sdn. Bhd., members learned how to identify hazards, comply with OSHA (Amendment 2022), and implement preventive measures across their estates.

This training is part of LKSS’s commitment to ensure that every cooperative member is equipped to serve as an OSH Coordinator in their operations 🌴✅.

🌿 LKSS 2nd RSPO Group Eligibility Audit Completed 🌿

We’re pleased to share that Koperasi Landskap Kelapa Sawit Sabah Berhad (LKSS) has successfully completed the RSPO Group 2 Eligibility Stage Audit, which was conducted on 29th–30th July 2025.

This audit marks an important milestone in our continued commitment to responsible and sustainable oil palm practices.

🌿 WWF-UK and WWF-Malaysia SPOT Team Visit to LKSS 🌿

On 10th July 2025, LKSS directors and staff attended a networking dinner hosted by WWF-Malaysia at LA Hotel, Tawau, in honour of Ms. Zoey Humphrey from WWF-UK. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect, share ideas, and strengthen relationships in a warm, informal setting.

The following day, on 11th July 2025, Ms. Zoey, together with the WWF SPOT Team, carried out a field visit in Tawau. LKSS Team accompanied them to visit one of our RSPO certified smallholders in Kau Sing, where Ms. Zoey gained firsthand insights into the smallholders’ field operations. In the afternoon, the team visited the LKSS office to better understand our role in supporting these groups on their certification journey.

We truly appreciate this meaningful engagement and the ongoing support from WWF-Malaysia. Together, we can continue to empower our smallholder community and drive sustainability efforts forward. 🌱

On June 21, 2025 (Saturday), LKSS proudly held its 5th Annual General Meeting at the Institute of Science and Management (ISM), Tawau via hybrid format – uniting an incredible 127 members both in person and online! 💻🏫

A big thank you to all our members for your active participation, insightful input, and unwavering support. Your dedication have made this AGM smooth and successful. 🙌
