*ROAD SAFETY ALLIANCE MALAYSIA (RSAM) EXPRESSES ITS SINCERE APPRECIATION*

Road Safety Alliance Malaysia (RSAM), recently launched under the leadership of *The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Malaysia (CILT Malaysia)* through a strategic collaboration with the *Road Safety Expert Association (RSEA), MUST University of Science and Technology Malaysia (MUST), Universiti Utara
Malaysia (UUM), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia Defensive Driving & Riding Centre (MDDRC), RSEA Women & Road Safety Agenda, Katsana Holdings Sdn Berhad, Safety Point Resources*, and the *Expert Driving, Riding & Trainers Academy (EDRTA)*, would like to express its heartfelt appreciation and sincere gratitude to everyone who has joined and supported RSAM in its mission to drive meaningful road safety reform in Malaysia.

In line with the spirit of collaboration and the *Safe System Approach*, the RSAM Secretariat warmly invites and welcomes contributions from individuals, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), academic institutions, government agencies, industry stakeholders, and members of the public to share constructive ideas, views, and recommendations on road safety.

*Bila Ego Menguasai Jalan Raya: Teguran Keras untuk Pengguna Jalan di Malaysia*
_By Amarjeet Singh @ AJ_

Beberapa hari kebelakangan ini, kita melihat wajah sebenar sebahagian pengguna jalan raya di *Malaysia*
*kasar, bodoh sombong, pentingkan diri, dan gagal berfikir.*

Video tular bersepah.
Jeritan, makian, emosi melampau.
Tetapi satu soalan mudah langsung tidak ditanya:

*Siapa sebenarnya punca masalah?*

Mari kita hentikan drama dan bercakap *berdasarkan fakta, bukan emosi murahan*.

Garisan kuning bukan hiasan.

2. *Parkir lori dipenuhi kereta* — kemudian salahkan lori

Tempat parkir lori disediakan untuk *kenderaan berat*.
Tetapi kereta ambil alih sebab “nak cepat” dan “tak lama”.

Kesannya:
* simpang tersumbat
* laluan sempit
* lori tersekat
* pemandu lain hilang sabar

Keselesaan seorang mencetuskan kekacauan ramai.

Apabila kamu:
* parkir haram
* double parking
* sempitkan jalan ses**a hati

kamu *menghapuskan ruang wajib* untuk lori membelok.

Lepas itu kamu menjerit:
> “Kenapa lori block jalan?!”

Jalan sudah lama disekat — *oleh kamu*.

*4. Kenapa cepat naik angin?*
Kenapa s**a maki?
Kenapa rakam video sambil menyalak?

Sebab:

*5. Tamak lawan fakta*
Mari kita jujur:
* *Tamak*: “Aku nak parkir sini sekejap je.”
* *Fakta*: “Tindakan aku menyusahkan ramai orang.”
* *Emosi*: “Kenapa lori lembab?”
* *Realiti*: “Berat berpuluh tan, bukan kereta mainan.”

Bila tamak bertemu kejahilan,
*kebodohan tampil dengan yakin.*

*Penutup yang pahit tapi benar*
Jalan raya tidak salah.
Peraturan tidak salah.
Lori tidak salah.

*Yang salah ialah mentaliti.*

Mentaliti:
* aku dulu
* aku betul
* orang lain bodoh
