“Keetmanshoop’s Cry for Justice: When Will the Violence End?

Keetmanshoop is at a breaking point. Gangs rule the streets, spreading fear and violence while innocent children and adults lose their lives in senseless crimes. It feels like no one is safe anymore.

Families are shattered, and a sense of hopelessness has taken hold of the community.

Shockingly, the response from law enforcement has been alarmingly weak. It’s as if the police fear the very gangs they’re tasked to stop.

To make matters worse, desperate parents often plead for the release of their children who are caught in criminal activities, hoping to keep their families fed. But this only feeds the vicious cycle of crime, leaving the community trapped in chaos.

How much longer can Keetmanshoop endure this reign of terror? The rising crime rates demand urgent and decisive action.

The people of Keetmanshoop need protection, justice, and hope for a future where children can grow up without fear and communities can thrive in peace.

This is a call to action—for the police, for leaders, and for society as a whole. Enough is enough. We want our peace back.”

Our country is a Banana Republic anytime I go somewhere to demand Justice the Namibian Police Force will send an army of police officers.

However when people actually need assistance they are told there are no cars, it sounds like a Joke when I say if you want the Police to react fast just say Amushelelo is here closing down a business, they will even sent the police helicopter.

In this country I don’t know why police like to use the term “Crime Prevention” when all the time they are just Reacting so they should rather use the term “Crime Reaction” and often when they react it is too late.
