Cooking fatcakes with a parabolic solar cooker☀️🔥

In less than 15 minutes, the oil temperature went over 140°C, though it was partly cloudy.

This cooker can reach temperatures of up to 300°C under good sun, making cooking times comparable to conventional stoves — as long as the sun is shining.

Perfectly cooked, great smell, great taste.. Using clean, safe, and healthy cooking.

Baking muffins using our new improved box solar cooker - powered entirely by the sun 🌞

Baked in less than 45 minutes and performed well even under partly cloudy skies.

This faster, improved design can reach over 150 °C on clear sunny days, proving that solar cooking is not only possible - it is practical!

As a young and growing business, opportunities like this are more than just events — they are platforms that allow us to be seen, to learn, to connect, and to believe even more in the impact we are working toward. Exhibitions open doors that small businesses rarely have access to, and they remind us that innovation truly thrives when young entrepreneurs are given space to participate and showcase solutions.

We had the privilege to showcase solar thermal in action through solar cooking demonstrations at the SOLTRAIN+ & IEA SHC Task 69 Joint Symposium, held from 23–26 September 2026 at the NUST Hotel School.

The response was incredible — participants were amazed to see how everyday meals can be prepared using nothing but Namibia’s abundant sunshine. 🇳🇦✨

At Rural Power Solutions CC, we’re not just talking about renewable energy — we’re proving it works through practical, local solutions that tackle energy poverty while inspiring sustainable living. 🌱

Namibia receives over 3,000 hours of sunshine each year — enough to power change. The question is:
👉 Are we ready to use it to solve our real challenges?
