This prestigious award honors visionary women leaders driving innovation, empowerment, and sustainable impact in the livestock sector across our three great nations.
The 2026 recipient is a remarkable leader whose work is transforming Kenyaโs livestock industry. Through a women-led feedlot operation producing high-quality grass-fed and grain-finished beef, she has created market access for more than 4,500 pastoralists, women, and youth.
Her greatest innovation is Flockr, a technology platform using USSD and SMS to connect remote communities, transforming traditional pastoralism into a data-driven value chain.
She employs women in key roles and partners with the Chui Mamas Group (1,000 women), delivering training in circular economy and climate-resilient fodder production. She has also sponsored women to international platforms, including the Dubai Food Festival and UNIDO study tours.
With a vision to scale to 1,000 cattle, finish 40 head weekly with full traceability, and grow Flockr to 2 million users across Africa, she continues to demonstrate what is possible when innovation, leadership, and purpose come together.
