VACANCY: EMBROIDERY MACHINE OPERATOR & DIGITIZER

Modern World Designs & Manufacturing cc is seeking a skilled and experienced Embroidery Machine Operator with knowledge of embroidery digitizing software to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain embroidery machines.
Digitize logos, designs, and artwork for embroidery production.
Set up embroidery jobs and ensure quality output.
Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Ensure production targets and quality standards are met.
Prepare garments and materials for embroidery.
Minimum Requirements:
Proven experience operating commercial embroidery machines.
Proficiency in embroidery digitizing software (e.g., Wilcom, Hatch, Pulse, or similar).
Ability to convert artwork into embroidery-ready files.
Good attention to detail and quality control.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Added Advantages:
Experience in the garment or textile manufacturing industry.
Knowledge of different embroidery techniques and machine settings.
Ability to train or guide junior staff.

Modern World Designs and Manufacturing cc is seeking for a skilled and detail-oriented Cutter to join our production team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately cutting fabric according to patterns and specifications while ensuring quality standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

- Measure, mark, and cut fabrics according to patterns and production requirements.
- Ensure efficient fabric utilization and minimize wastage.
- Prepare fabric bundles for sewing and production.
- Inspect materials for defects before cutting.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Requirements:

- Grade 12 with Experience in garment cutting or textile production will be an added advantage.
- Ability to read and understand patterns and measurements.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
