VACANCY: CONSULTANT AGRONOMIST

Professional requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of agronomy work experience
* In-depth knowledge of soil and crop principles
* Proficient in remote working and consulting
* Proficient in the identification of problems and finding a solution remotely

* Effective written and verbal communication skills

K9 Program Coordinator for the Naankuse Group.

We hereby offer you the position as the K9 Program Coordinator for the Naankuse Group.
This full-time position is based at Naankuse Wildlife Experience, 45km East of Windhoek and cannot be done remotely

RESPONSIBILTIES
• Operational oversight of the canine unit
• Participate in security canine training
• Training other staff
• Maintaining detailed records of the canine operations
• Planning and strategy development
• Travelling in-country & abroad for training and brand building
• Any other duties as determined by the unit owner


REQUIRMENTS
• Must hold a professional canine handling certificate from a reputable institution
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in professional canine security training
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in security/law enforcement services
• Any additional qualifications such as patrol dog handling, sniffer dog training will be considered
• Computer literacy a must
• Clean Driver’s license

Job Description:

•Operates series of beehive kilns to produce charcoal: Places kindling in kiln and starts fire.

•Seals top of kiln when specified heat is attained, using cement and hand trowel.

•Observes color of smoke as it issues through draft holes in kiln bottom to ensure burning of charcoal as specified.

•Opens and closes draft holes, using bricks, to regulate forming of charcoal.
•Seals draft holes and cracks in kiln with cement to smother fire when charcoal has been formed.

Requirements:

•3 years charcoal maker of which 2 must be as a quality controller .

•Code B drivers license

•Planning ability and as well as leadership skills.

•Grade 12
