BE THE LIGHT 001
The Holy Book says, “We are the light of the world.”
In physics, light is energy. It is what makes things visible—what reveals, clarifies, and gives understanding to what would otherwise remain hidden.
And energy is never passive.
Energy transforms.
Wherever energy enters, something changes, state, structure, behavior, or direction.
It cannot be created or destroyed, only transferred and transformed.
So when the Creator calls us light, He is not speaking in poetry alone, He is speaking in function.
We are energy.
And if we are energy, then we are designed to influence, to shift, to transform whatever we come in contact with.
We are not spectators in creation.
We are instruments.
Tools in the hands of the Creator, meant to shape raw humanity into meaning, into order, into purpose.
But here lies the danger:
We have been given discretion.
The same energy can build or destroy.
The same light can guide or blind.
To make or to mar.
To give life or to drain it.
So the real question is not whether you are light.
The question is: what are you doing with your energy?
When you dim your light, darkness doesn’t struggle, it simply takes over.
But when you shine, darkness does not negotiate, it disappears.
It starts with truth.
Not your truth.
Not a convenient version of truth.
But truth in its simplest, purest form.
The truth of keeping your word.
The truth of doing what is right, even when it feels small.
Dropping trash in a bin may seem insignificant, but it is not.
In that moment, you are emitting energy.
You are projecting light.
You are influencing your environment.
Transformation does not always begin with grand gestures.
Sometimes, it begins with disciplined consistency in the smallest things.
So I ask you:
Will you be the light?
