MULTI-TALENTED BUT BROKE!
For years after SSCE, I wandered in the valley of confusion because I didn't know what I wanted to do with my life.
2013- I wrote WAEC at age 16 and because there was no money for higher institutions, I enrolled in a printing shop to learn graphics.
2014- I got a small place and started my graphics business, but I couldn't manage it because of inexperience. I would close the place to go and read books in a bookshop.
2015- I decided to upgrade and went to a photo enlargement and printing company, I learned Photoshop editing and picture framing.
2016- I left it, and said I wanted to focus on my music, I joined a music group, bought an acoustic guitar, and enrolled in music classes.
2017- I was broke and confused, so I left music and went to work as a sales agent, I wrote jamb and post-utme at Unilorin but didn't get admission.
2018 - I learned phonetics from a teacher who said I would join her to teach, but she later gave excuses. Stranded, I went to look for work at a radio station as a presenter, but I wasn't accepted because I had no degree. But the sound editor there offered to teach me sound editing and sound production. They later retained me and added me to their payroll.
Wrote my first book, and was disappointed by the sales.
2019- I left the station for some personal reasons, and I got another job as a receptionist/sound editor. I wrote jamb
2020- I got admission 7 years after SSCE, then Corona and ASUU strike happened. I went home and faced film production, but I didn't have much funds to continue. Then.a helper
2021- I resumed school.
2022-I was still confused as to what to concentrate on, MUSIC? WRITING NOVELS?FILMMAKING? All these talents had left me broke.
Thank God clarity came, and I discovered what I was meant to be doing at this phase of my life.
