Proper Classification Explained

Many people hear names like:
👉 Tubular
👉 Gel
👉 AGM
👉 Lithium
…but some of these are actually sub-types of bigger battery categories 😮

Let’s classify them properly 👇
1. -Acid Batteries
This is one of the oldest and most widely used battery technologies in solar systems.

Lead-acid batteries are mainly divided into:
A. Lead-Acid Batteries (FLA)
These contain liquid electrolyte (acid) inside the battery.

✔️ Require water topping
✔️ Need ventilation
✔️ Release gases during charging

Common Types Under Flooded Batteries:
🔹 Plate Batteries
Traditional lead-acid battery design.

🔹 Batteries
Uses tubular positive plates for improved deep-cycle performance 💯
