THINGS I DO IN MY SPARE TIME

📍 Feed chicken: feeding takes about 70% of production cost. Instead of stocking 100 birds and feeding them less, I suggest you go for 50 birds then feed them well that will pay you better.

When you limit your birds from getting required daily feed intake you will end up spending more time and money to reach the marketable weight.

📍 Look at chicken: as a stockman first thing to do daily is to inspect and observe the performance of your birds. This is actually a principal area not to joke with.

I derives much joy watching this birds develop from chicks to chicken 🐔🍗

📍 Research chicken: diseases no dey read book 👀 they can manifest the way they like. As a you don't have to be comfortable with what you know already. Learn, unlearn and relearn.

📍 Talk about chicken: I will keep exploring in the poultry industry and making known to the general public the unique nature of the poultry value chain.

📍 Think about chicken: Each production batch brings a different experience hence the need to "think".

📍 Dream about chicken: even in the dream I remembers chicken.
