These hand-loomed cotton fabrics come in strips 6 inches wide and 60 (or 48) inches long. You need four strips for a head-wrap (gele), 4 strips for Ipele (shawl) and 8 strips for Iro (wrap skirt). You can also combine different designs for a complete ensemble.
