MAPOLY Begins E-Processing of Academic Documents, Launches Integrated Central System (MICS)

The Management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, has introduced the MAPOLY Integrated Central System (MICS) for the electronic processing of academic documents, in line with global best practices.

MICS is a one-stop digital platform for academic services, designed to simplify and streamline administrative processes under the acronym Sorting Peculiar Educational Administrative Knots Seamlessly (SPEAKS).

This initiative underscores the Management’s commitment to repositioning and rebranding the institution, with a view to providing lasting solutions to the cumbersome procedures hitherto experienced by students in the processing and collection of academic documents.

While all academic documents have been successfully migrated to the digital platform and will be activated in phases, the Notification of Result is now fully accessible. Graduates can immediately process and print their Notification of Result through the MICS platform.

At the launch of the first successfully e-generated Notification of Result, the Rector, Arc. Dr. ‘Koye Jolaoso, congratulated all stakeholders, particularly the pioneer beneficiary, Ajayi Precious, who graduated with a Distinction from the Department of Accountancy.

It will be recalled that the Academic Board approved the replacement of the Statement of Result with the Notification of Result, effective from the 2024/2025 academic session.

In his remarks, the Rector stated, "As Management, I congratulate everyone on this landmark achievement in the digitalisation of our processes, as I present this copy to the first beneficiary, Ajayi Precious."

To ensure the integrity and security of the system, only students with verified profiles will be enabled to process and print any academic document on the platform. In addition, the Notification of Result is embedded with enhanced security features, including a QR code for easy verification and authentication.

MAPOLY ENERGIZED AS POWER IS RESTORED FOLLOWING INSTALLATION OF TWO TRANSFORMERS; NOW ON "BAND A" WITH IMPROVED ELECTRICITY SUPPLY

Following the installation of two electricity transformers provided by the Ogun State Government a few months ago, the Management is pleased to inform the Polytechnic community that power supply was successfully restored to the institution on Wednesday, 8th April, 2026.

This development is expected to create a more conducive environment for teaching, learning, and administrative activities, as the Polytechnic begins to enjoy a more stable and appreciable electricity supply, having been upgraded from the 11kV to the 33kV line.

The Rector, Arc. Dr. ‘Koye Jolaoso, on behalf of the Management, staff, and students of the Polytechnic, expressed profound appreciation to His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, for his support and commitment to the development of the institution, particularly for the timely provision of the transformers that made this achievement possible.

The Rector also acknowledged and commended all key players and stakeholders who contributed in various capacities to the realization of this project.

While congratulating the Polytechnic community on this laudable development, the Rector urged all staff and students to adopt responsible energy consumption practices. He emphasized the importance of switching off electrical appliances when not in use, noting that the Polytechnic is now classified under “Band A,” which attracts a higher consumption tariff due to the improved power supply.

Management therefore calls for collective responsibility in ensuring energy efficiency and sustainability, in order to maximize the benefits of the restored power supply without incurring unnecessary costs.

The Polytechnic remains committed to continuous improvement in service delivery and infrastructural development for the overall advancement of the institution.
