OBEYING IS BETTER THAN SACRIFICE.
I find it difficult to write about things happening in our generation not because i don't know what to write about but because i just don't want to write about things that is not real to me, not because they are not true but the question is, what you write about is it real in your life.
we have many people today who are speakers and writers who talk on topics but they don't abide by it,
so i need you to be careful about the things you hear and read,
this is just an advice
let me talk to you about instruction for a while,
i know you might be doubting my capability on this topic, but for those who are privilege to know me personally know that everything i do in life is based on instruction.
your life consciously or unconsciously is controlled by instruction so this is not a new concept am trying to impose on u.
from the spiritual word to the secular word chain of command is one most principle that must be recognised.
And any where we have chain of command there must be instruction, and instruction will come from a superior either you like him or not, either you are convenient with it or not if it an instruction you are obligated to carry it out.
let me talk to you Christians who are God followers.
with my study of the bible have come to discover that we followers of Christ are often refer to has sheep, Jesus said in Matt 15:24 "but Jesus answered and said I am not sent but only unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel", so if we are referred to has sheep that means we have a shepherd which is Christ .
little wonder David said with boldness that the lord is my Shepherd i shall not want, because a shepherd provides the needs of his flocks.
but have discover that the shepherd not only provide needs but also gives instructions to the sheep's to follow.
some Christians today only want the breakthrough of God but neglect the instructions of God.
He said in the book of Joshua 1:8 that obeying instruction is the only way to prosper in all that you do,
many of us have neglected the instruction of God through the scripture, Man of God over us, or authority over us and we wonder why thing are not working well for us
we even say word like "am not led" to justify our disobedience when scripture says in Philippians 2:14 "do all things without murmuring and disputing" another version says without complain.
many times your opinion is not required to carry out instructions.
FACT ABOUT OBEDIENCE
1.God killed His Spirit in Adam and Eve because he disobeyed instruction.
2.God lifted Abraham because he obeyed God instruction.
3. God destroyed Saul because he disobeyed instruction.
4.obedience attract blessing from God.
FACTS ABOUT INSTRUCTION.
1.Never despise instructions, your breakthrough lies in it, (2king 5:10).
2.many times the instructions are not convenient and pleasing to your spirit, Soul and body 2 king 5: 11-12
3. Never underestimate Gods power because of your circumstance, how He wants to do it is not your business just obey His instruction 1 king 17:14.
4.your opinion is not of use sometime when instruction comes 1 king 17: 25 but obedience.
Pastors as Shepherd
i talked about you obeying the instructions of your shepherd and 1 Peter 5: 3-5, referred to our spiritual leaders has Shepherds and Jesus as chief Shepherds.
i leave you with this final word,
When God is your Shepherd He leads, guild and direct you
