Sometimes, behind every surrogacy programme is a family that has been waiting for a very long time.

Waiting for a phone call.

Waiting for a medical appointment.

Waiting for a match.

Waiting for the next step.

Waiting for good news.

And sometimes, while we are discussing documents, payments, appointments and medical processes, it is easy to forget the emotion behind everything.

There is usually a person or a couple on the other side who simply wants to become a parent.
