OFFICIAL DISCLAIMER ON UNAUTHORIZED CLAIMS, FALSE CIRCULARS, AND IMPERSONATION BY PROF. KAILANI MUHAMMAD

Fellow Compatriots and Gallant Officers,
The attention of the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) National Headquarters has been drawn to several public statements, voice notes, publications, and circulars currently being circulated by one Prof. Kailani Muhammad, in which he is parading himself as the National Chairman of the CJTF and issuing unauthorized directives to members of the public.
This official disclaimer is issued to clarify the position of the CJTF National Headquarters, protect the integrity of our organization, and prevent the general public and CJTF personnel from being misled.
1. CJTF National Headquarters Does Not Know Prof. Kailani Muhammad
For the avoidance of doubt, the CJTF National Headquarters wishes to state clearly that Prof. Kailani Muhammad is not known, recognized, or documented as a member of the CJTF at any level.
He has never been officially introduced, recorded, or acknowledged within the CJTF structure, and he does not appear in any recognized leadership or membership documentation of the CJTF National Headquarters.
2. His Claimed Position as “National Chairman” is Not Recognized
The CJTF National Headquarters has not appointed, endorsed, or authorized Prof. Kailani Muhammad to act, speak, or represent the CJTF in any capacity.
His continued claim of being the National Chairman is therefore false, unauthorized, and not recognized by the CJTF National Headquarters.
3. He Has Never Served as a CJTF Officer
The CJTF further states that Prof. Kailani Muhammad has never worn the CJTF uniform, nor has he participated in any CJTF operation, assignment, or official activity known to the National Headquarters.
This is important to clarify, as CJTF is a disciplined organization whose authority and legitimacy are based on verified service, structure, and chain of command.
4. False Circulars on “Profiling” and Unauthorized Registration Claims
It has also been observed that Prof. Kailani Muhammad has circulated false and misleading information suggesting that he is conducting a national profiling, registration, or verification exercise for CJTF members.
The CJTF National Headquarters wishes to state categorically that:
Prof. Kailani Muhammad has no authority to profile, register, verify, or document CJTF members.
No individual has the right to issue circulars or directives on CJTF national profiling without authorization.
The only body with the legal and organizational authority to conduct any CJTF-wide registration, documentation, or profiling is the CJTF National Headquarters through its recognized leadership organs.
All such circulars and publications attributed to Prof. Kailani Muhammad are therefore invalid, unauthorized, and should be disregarded completely.
5. Attempt to Deform the Character and Reputation of Musa Ahmadu
The CJTF National Headquarters has further noted with concern that Prof. Kailani Muhammad has repeatedly used public platforms to make statements aimed at deforming the character and reputation of Musa Ahmadu, the FCT Commandant.
This includes spreading misleading narratives and public insinuations across social media and other channels.
The CJTF strongly condemns any attempt to malign serving officers through misinformation, especially when such narratives are being pushed by an individual who is not recognized within the CJTF structure.
6. Public Notice on Impersonation
The CJTF hereby informs the general public that Prof. Kailani Muhammad is impersonating the identity and leadership of the CJTF, and all his statements, publications, circulars, and claims should be treated as false and disregarded.
7. Final Directives
All CJTF commands nationwide are hereby directed to:
Disregard any message, directive, or circular issued by Prof. Kailani Muhammad
Avoid any form of communication or engagement with him on CJTF matters
Continue to follow the recognized chain of command and CJTF National Headquarters directives
Report any individual or group spreading unauthorized CJTF messages to the appropriate authorities
The CJTF remains committed to discipline, unity, and Justice The integrity of our organization will not be compromised by impersonation, misinformation, or unauthorized claims.
