COMMERCIAL ACTIVITIES WILL SOON COMMENCE AT THE NEW MODERN MARKET IN MADALLA.

Tuesday, the 9th of march, 2021, was historic for the people of Suleja local government area to witness the groundbreaking event by the Niger state government to relocate the popular Madalla market which is known to be a great concerns to all motorists plying the high way that linked Niger state with the federal capital territory

The Niger State Ministry of Commerce , Industry and Investment in conjunction with Dodo Project Consults organized a town hall meeting that provides the opportunity to all relevant stakeholders to interact and understand the progress so far, the challenges obstructing the project and working out modalities on the relocations of the present market to the new site. The meeting which was anchored by the permanent Secretary, Ministry of Investment, Commerce and Industry. Also some important personalities who grace the occasion delivered their goodwill messages.

In his opening remarks the Permanent Secretary, who represented the Commissioner, Dr. Mustapha Alheri said; Niger state government is fully ready for the relocation of the current market in Madalla to the new site. He However added that; there is a good understanding between the state government and the contractors handling the project. Also, that the government is well satisfied with the capacity of the contractor to handle the project.

The interactive session had the blessings of prominent personalities, investors, marketers within and outside the state.
