Ginger.
Do you know that you can use ginger in a number of ways. You can take it raw, boil it, add it to your meals, combine it with a drink , use it to make smoothies and pap.
Ginger is both tasty in meals and has nutritional value. It is one of my best spices and secret ingredient that I love so much. It can be used either fresh or dried depends on your preference and purpose of usage.
When I was pregnant and couldn't eat any thing. My husband persuaded me to try out ogi ( akamu) . I have always hated akamu as a child so I couldn't imagine myself considering it. I simply told him to forget it .
Having so much thoughts about what I'll eat as I was always vomiting and having heart burn. I decided on my own to try spicing up my akamu to see if I can eat it.
I decided to use ginger and I also added a few other healthy spices to my corn, millet and guinea corn before grinding.
The taste was greatπ. When I offered to some people around me they were surprised at the outcome.
