We often hear that there are no jobs in Nigeria. Maybe for some other sectors but for the web or software development industry, there are jobs.
For example, lets check this link https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/search/?country=ng&countryCode=ng&f_TP=1%2C2%2C3%2C4&keywords=web%20developer. It contains 34 job openings for web developers (front-end, back-end and full-stack) in Nigeria, the oldest of the job posting is 4 weeks ago. They are all new job openings and that is how it's been all year.
The issue now is, just a very small number of Nigerians are proficient in the skills required for the jobs in the link above.
If we check all the job openings in the link above carefully, we will notice that proficiency in the following courses are required in almost all the jobs:
1) HTML
2) CSS
3) JavaScript
and the followings are also very needed but not as mentioned as the three courses above:
1) PHP
2) MySQL
3) Bootstrap
4) jQuery
Firstly, no Nigerian Tertiary Institution will teach the skills required for the jobs above.
