My milling factory is almost ready and I am starting work there immediately. In the factory, you can mill your rice, corn, yam flour, egusi, groundnut...

In other to kickstart immediately I have started buying grains that I will mill and sell at the market. In the region where the factory is located at Auta Balefe along Keffi road, I have the biggest milling factory there. This means I am going to be a major ‘miller’ and major distributor of some foodstuff to the nearby markets and wholesalers.

I am done storing groundnut (unpeeled). Now it's time for rice. (where I am buying from, this is the best time, please).

Have you heard of paddy rice (Jamila)? That's the type of rice I am buying. One of the best rice you can think of.
I am buying the unmilled, to be milled and sold by December/January/February.

If you have the opportunity and source to buy good unmilled rice now, kindly do.

Peep the alphabets written on the bags. Market people don sabi me finish. 😁. They mark it ‘OV’ before numbering it.

It's been months since I started the distribution of garri. The challenges can cause heartache but somehow I see myself solving them without panic.

There are days my trailers delay in going to pack them from the market (they go for commercial purposes too), and because leaving them like that is not safe, they pack them to the main road of the market to sell to those going into the market to buy. Either at the same cost or with a maximum of 200 naira profit per bag. Strategy.

There are days we buy at a certain price and by the time we get to the market where we sell, the price has dropped DRASTICALLY. I quickly call far north where there is still hikes and go there to sell. Strategy.

I have 1,392 people partnering with me in garri. Two groups. Wednesday and Sunday. I have an excel sheet that contains everyone's name and amount. My suppliers share these lists among themselves to make sure they know how many bags each partner's money could afford. To avoid either under share the bags among them or overshare. Strategy.

When I go to the market and I see other distributors, I reduce the cost and make little profit but fast sales. Strategy.

When demand is high and it requires me to take in new people, the WhatsApp group is limited to 257 people, I multiply the minimum amount to partner with by 257 people, check the amount needed to meet up the demand, and take the number of people that can meet up with 70% of what I need and expect the remaining 30% from top-up from existing partners. This is one of the reasons we have payment policy. TIME. IF YOU DON'T MEET UP THAT'S ALL. Strategy.

I do schedule payment. Once I credit my suppliers, there is no way I will accept money from you. No matter the amount. Then print out the excel sheet of the newly added fund and send it to my suppliers. Then they know how much each person has added. Strategy.

About OFPSB

It's not an INVESTMENT PLATFORM.
People don't give us money to get a certain percentage monthly.
We don't look for investors.

OFPSB totally depends on foodstuff distribution and storage of non-perishable crops.
We do partnership with people ONLY WHE THE NEEDS ARISE.
This is why we often tell people that there is no opening or space.
We set a target of distributing a certain quantity of foodstuff and we set a limit. Once we reach that limit, even if you are coming with 100 million, we won't accept.

We don't take more than we can handle.

What we do is basically PARTNERSHIP. This is why we always say that there is NO ESTIMATED PROFIT.
MARKET COST DETERMINES OUR OPERATION.

WHAT WE DO?

> We look at foodstuff in places where they are cheap and sell where they are expensive.

> We buy foodstuff when they are cheap (harvest season) and sell when they are expensive (planting season).

WE ARE NOT ASKING PEOPLE TO GIVE US MONEY TO FUND A PROJECT.

WE ARE NOT ASKING PEOPLE TO BRING TWO PEOPLE TO COLLECT A CERTAIN PERCENTAGE.

WE DON'T HAVE ANY BRAND AMBASSADORS ANYWHERE.

I, Ovaioza call for partnership and people do. Bearing in mind that what we do is buying and selling while we share the profit and I give them their capital unless they want to keep partnering till I stop.
If you have done business with me, you would know that I am very strict with my business and money.

All money entrusted goes to goods and is returned as ad when due. My business partners can always get their money.

We don't do INVESTMENT.
WE DO PARTNERSHIPS.
If you are doing business with me, you are NOT MY INVESTOR. YOU ARE MY BUSINESS PARTNER. YOU ARE PARTNERING WITH ME.

WE DON'T ASK PEOPLE TO PROVIDE HELP AND GET HELP.
WE DO SUPPLIES.

These guys here work 24/7.
They were all awake throughout the night offloading goads. While offloading, they count and give me feedback.

They totally understand how my business works and then work diligently. Apart from signing the staff agreement, they have integrity.
I on the other hand treat them really well.

THERE IS NO ONE WORKING WITH ME THAT CAN COME OUT TO SAY THAT I AM NOT TREATING HIM OR HER WELL.
NO SINGLE PERSON.

In the OVAIOZA GROUP OF COMPANIES, I have over 50 staff and every single one of them deserves to be treated well because they handle my business as if is theirs.

Every time my Secretary Amara Amara Anyaegbu sends me the end of the month report, after doing check and balance and see that kobo is not missing, I am always moved to pray for all of them.

My lawyer went to check them at the market today and he said “these people working with you are really happy. You are treating them well”.

I am glad that I have a habit of not taking good people for granted.
I am glad to know that working with me should not be a form of slavery.

See goods abeg. 🤭

Today is the International Youth Day 2021!
This year’s theme is “Transforming Food Systems: Youth Innovation for Human and Planetary Health”.

This excites me because all over the world, food production, cultivation and preservation is taking the forefront and in Nigeria, I am at the center of it as an Agropreneur.

We know how stressful agriculture is. No matter the sector you go into, it is a very stressful business and requires so much work, so much effort and so much resources. This is why us, young people, are doing the right thing by picking an interest in agricultural ventures. People must eat every day, all over the world and the work we do contributes to this. Even the young people in the market who buy and sell bags to package our garri and other goods in, are contributing immensely to food systems and health. Imagine if they are not there to supply clean bags for our food items. The truck drivers, the farmers, the processors, everybody!

Like the statement the UN put out to celebrate this year’s youth day, they are highlighting the fact that the success of such a global effort will not be achieved without the meaningful participation of young people.

When you wonder why I put everything into my business to ensure that it is successful, remember that I am not just running a business but offering an essential service and contributing to survival and development, in the process. This is why I don’t joke with my business at all. It is more than a business to me.

Happy International Youth Day to all of us!

Every day, I wake up to people tagging me to posts where someone or people are looking for suppliers.
If I was tagged to 10 posts of such, I usually get 9.

Apart from people investing in the storage business that yield profit after 6 months, partnering in the buying and selling that yields profits weekly, they get me contracts too. If you have ever gotten a contract to supply something, you would understand what it means to be a major supplier to about 5 different companies where they process food, feed...
The supplies are usually huge. Thousands of tones of grains. A minimum of 1 thousand.

All these would not be possible without y’all here who believe in me and trust me.

Because the tags are much and I can not remember y’all names individually, this is me saying THANK YOU!

THANK YOU FOR REFERRING and RECOMMENDING OFPSB.

We supply all farm produces, cement, livestock, building materials...

Don't stop referring and recommending me, please. 🧎🧎🧎. This is where I get my doings from, abek.

You can reach us on WhatsApp only via 09061863122 and 08174032875.
