Every year, reports get written about the African nonprofit sector without asking the people actually doing the work how they communicate, what tools they use, or what’s actually working for them.

Signals from the Sector is Africa’s first report on AI and digital communications in civil society, built entirely on what people like you share, not assumptions, not guesses from outside looking in.

If you run programmes, manage donor relationships, or handle communications for a nonprofit or social enterprise, your answers shape what gets published.

The findings will be presented live at SIMS 2026 this November, and this is your chance to make sure the story it tells is accurate.

We are excited to announce our collaboration with Zoho for Startups ahead of the Social Impact Marketing Summit (SIMS) 2026.

SIMS 2026 will bring together nonprofit leaders, social enterprises, NGOs, and impact-driven founders from across Africa for two days of learning, networking, and practical conversations around technology and social impact.

This years theme is: AI for African Nonprofits: Powering a New Age of Social Impact.

As part of this collaboration, eligible members of our community have access to opportunities and resources through the Zoho for Startups program, helping organizations strengthen their operations and scale their impact.

Date: November 19-20, 2026
