Most NGOs build a website once and assume it is doing its job but your website is not a checkbox.

It is the first real impression for every donor, funder, and partner who finds you and most of them will never tell you it did not convince them.

They will just leave and the organisations that consistently attract funding and partnerships are not always doing the best work. They are the ones whose online presence makes the right people feel safe enough to take the next step.

Your website should be working for you around the clock. If it is not, comment WEBSITE or email [email protected] and let us fix that together.

No website yet? The work you have built deserves a proper home online.

AI won’t replace the people behind your NGO but it can reduce the pressure they carry every day.

Most NGO teams aren’t lacking commitment, they’re overloaded with manual communication processes that take more time than they should.

That’s why we hosted our AI for NGO Communications training to show teams how AI can support 👇🏽

• proposal structuring
• reporting workflows
• campaign planning
• communication systems
• and everyday productivity

Not to replace human thinking but to support it.

And honestly? Once you see what’s possible, you start realizing how much time your team has been losing unnecessarily.

Getting funded is not just about doing good work, It is about how you show up when the people who can fund that work come looking.

And they are always looking whether it is before a meeting, after a referral, the moment your proposal lands in their inbox.

What they find needs to tell the same story you are telling them and it needs to be clearly, consistently and in a way that makes you the obvious choice.

The funding ground is shifting under the entire African NGO sector right now, and most organisations are feeling it before they are ready to talk about it openly.

The cycles are shorter, the grants available are shrinking, donors are redirecting priorities, and there is the realisation that the model that got you here may not be the one that carries you forward.

Income diversification keeps coming up as the answer. But between the idea and the ex*****on is a gap that has caught a lot of well-intentioned organisations off guard.

Our latest blog post is for NGO leaders who are ready to think about this seriously, not a list of options, but an honest look at what it actually takes, what to ask before you commit, and how to figure out what makes sense for where your organisation is right now.

For many African NGOs, the question is no longer just “where is the funding coming from?” but “what happens if it stops?”

Income diversification has become one of the most important strategic conversations in the sector right now. But knowing where to start, what to avoid, and whether it even makes sense for your organisation is a different matter.

The next NGO Power Talk tackles this head on with the theme: Income Diversification in the African NGO Sector: Strategic Imperatives, Risks and Opportunities

NGO leaders with real experience in this space will share what the journey actually looks like, including what worked, what didn’t, and how to think about it for your own context.
