Agile adoption is still a hot topic in projects . “Agile project are PRODUCT oriented”.
In consideration and project selections, Return On Investment (ROI ) is very important i.e Revenue should be more than the cost after weighing the reasons to project creation.
* Scrum Masters or Project Managers?
The question is can a Scrum Master manage a Project?
In short agile started in the 70s as an alternative to Lean Six Sigma and it became popular in the 21st century when Scrum became the delivery frame work. Scrum started as a software.
To summarize this introduction, most projects from the Project Management perspective, the scrum framework doesn’t handle some important project areas e.g Financials, Procurement, Risk Management.
*Therefore a Project Manager is still required in projects alongside with the scrum master for Agile projects.
