At these point Emeka decides to listen to his friends advice and not do the online business
A lot of dreams and ideas have died down within so many people, it might have happened to you too because of the type of people we seek advice from
Many times when we want to venture into a business or try something new we tend to seek advice from our friends, relatives, or parents and most times they tell us to forget about it or we shouldn’t do it and that’s not because they don’t
love us no
It’s mostly because they love us too much and they don’t want bad things to happen to us
I can remember in 2020 during the lock down period when I wanted to learn to learn mini importation I asked my elder sister what she thought about it and she was so skeptical about it saying a lot of people have been scammed in the past
But that didn’t stop me I still paid learned and started importing goods myself without any assistance and I also made money from that business
Now what am I driving at? I’m not saying seeking advice from your friends is a bad idea what I’m saying is most times those people you seek advice from aren’t really exposed enough to know the right thing to say
Most times it’s advisable to seek advice from your mentors or coaches because those people have more knowledge and mostly know the right things to say
Or if you don’t have a mentor or a coach yet and you want to try out something make thorough research about the business model and how best to go about it and if you have a really strong conviction about it just do it
You never can tell that might be the turning point in your life, that single decision can be the beginning of your success journey
