Imo, Kogi And Bayelsa Off Season Elections, Why Expect Fairness And Peace, When 'Sn**ch It And Run With It' Is In The Saddle?

I'm begining to believe that we suffer from gross selective amnesia as a nation. I have read befuddling wistfulness manifest in many commentaries about a possible free, fair and credible polls in Bayelsa, Kogi and Imo. And I wonder whodunit.

Are you not aware that the morning tells largely what the day will be like. With the electoral larceny of February and March, 2023, and the attendant Judicial summersaults, tell me who believes in the sanctity and the sanity of the electoral process anymore?

Who will wait for a sullied, a stained, a tainted and a corrupt umpire in this case Mahmood Yakubu's INEC to declare results without doing the untoward? Does the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC have the capacity to organize a 'free, fair, and credible' election? The truth is that the floodgates of blood have been unlocked in Bayelsa, Kogi and Imo because the man who must win must understand that 'power is not served ala'carte, he must sn**ch it, run with it' and where necessary, kill for it. That is where we are.

If you like call me a sore loser for telling the truth, call me a grieving Obidient, but can you sow Cassava and reap Cocoa yam? I can bet the heavens that a million battalions cannot maintain the peace in the off season elections scheduled for the 11th of November, 2023 in the States of Bayelsa, Kogi and Imo. Speaking Deeply, the polls are scheduled by the umpire INEC and the President to be theatres of blood, I pray they prove me wrong, I pray. But how can they when those who hailed the violence that greeted the February and March National Elections occupy prized positions in Government today.

How can they when 'Go To Court' is the new cliche in town. Must you not win by any means possible and through any crookedness available for the loser to 'Go To Court'? A thousand and one pages of signed Peace Accords will pass for toilet-sheets if nothing is done quickly to recalibrate our moral margins and redefine the frontiers of politics and electioneering in Nigeria. Anything else is like the Wait For Godot.

After spending over 320b in the sham called elections that Mahmood Yakubu and his goons superintended over in February and March, and no one is yet on trial for several unexplainable and inexplicable hitches, glitches and ditches. After watching the danse macabre that the judiciary gave a clean bill to. And after seeing 'Go To Court' mean 'We Own The Courts', what do you expect will happen in Imo, Kogi and Bayelsa? You are not a Clairvoyant, nor are you Nostradamus if you say, sorrow, tears, blood and mayhem. But wait, must this mess continue ad nauseam ad infinitum?

It is however not all doom and gloom, Countrymen and women, the present crisis shall most definitely make true the time-tested praxis 'only when it's dark enough can you see the stars', something must give sooner rather than later, and then the task of nation building shall begin. Here you may call me a Clairvoyant, you may call me a Seer, or even call me Nostradamus, but like Carlyle I believe that NO LIE CAN LIVE FOREVER, like Cullen William Bryant I believe that TRUTH CRUSHED TO EARTH SHALL RISE AGAIN, and I believe that a new Nigeria is in the horizon.

My faith in God tells me that Nigeria shall rise again. My faith in Nigeria tells me that a New Generation of Patriots and Thinkers are ready, willing and able to berth the New Day, the New Deal and the New Republic that we crave. And my faith in humankind says keep the fire burning, Chris, for the day is near.

Cometh the moment, Cometh the Man.

I wish the States of Kogi, Bayelsa and Imo what I wish Democracy in NIGERIA. So long, Folks.

*May Soludo Never Happen To You.*

I have worked on the letters of the name SOLUDO, and I truly sympathize with all those who go by that name either as first, second, third or as surname. I'm truly not disrespectful of them nor do I mean any insults or harm. Sincerely my heart goes out to Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo who is the direct subject of this short piece.

The SOLUDO at the core of this effort stands for, SELF OVERRATING LET'S UNHINGED DESTRUCTION OUT. Oftentimes mortal man thinks him/herself exceptional. In Luciferic arrogance mortal man ascribes omniscience to him/herself. In unguarded penchant for kindergarten jealousy mortal man assumes theistic propensities, as he/she dishes out anger and envy ladened prognosis presenting such hubris, tommyrot and gibberish as the product of studied research, like Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo sought to weave a sullied wool over us a few days ago.

The past one week has been a theatre of the absurd for the Governor of Anambra State Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo who rather than concentrate on making the State better than he met it, opted instead for the danse macabre, yes, in an inexplicable frenzy of Pseudo intellectualism he chose an unsolicited fight with H.E Peter Obi who understandably is the rave of the moment on our political amphitheater. May your ego not become your fall. Indeed may SOLUDO never happen to you.

From that Channels TV 'POLITICS TODAY' Interview with Proficient Broadcast Anchor Seun Okinbaloye where he described former Governor Peter Obi's investments in favour of Anambra State as next to nothing, to the "so long a letter/article' where Soludo not only sort to rubbish the Presidential race of H.E Peter Obi but labourously proceeded to denigrate the entire Nigerian Youth, the Obidient Family and all those seeking a better Nigeria worldwide. In demonic arrogance and fiendish jealousy, Soludo claims to be smarter than the global family of the Obidients. He calls the Movement a Mob. He calls the movement the product of fleeting exuberance and excitement. He thinks himself the most intelligent Nigerian and the most informed political operator alive. But he goofed. May SOLUDO never happen to you.

Even the Peoples Democratic Party the PDP, the All Promises Cancelled, O sorry the All Progressive Congress the APC and the New Nigerian Peoples Party the NNPP ditto three of the four leading political parties in the race for the high office of President come 2023, have not in any way treated or referred to the Peter Obi phenomenon in a condescending manner like the 'all knowing Soludo' has. 'How art thou fallen, Chukwuma Son of Soludo, why has pride and prejudice ensnared you? What happened to you?'. Seriously Speaking Folks, may SOLUDO never happen to you.

Have you read the opinions streaming into the public domain on Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo? Have you seen the statement of Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala the DG of the World Trade Organization? Have you read the one credited to the Former Governor of the Central Bank and the Former Emir of Kano H.R.H Lamido Sanusi? Have you read the one that was ascribed to his in-law the late Dr. Dora Akunyili? You can Google check and find out that none of the damning statements came from the Obidients. That Soludo in his mountain high and unbridled arrogance called the Obidients a 'mob' defines his blinding neurosis and unequalled disdain and hate for the most vibrant socio-political movement in our nation's history. May Soludo never happen to you.

Who will tell Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo that I'm glad to be a member of the MOB (Movement Of The Beautiful). Who will tell him that we are Beautiful because together with H.E Peter Obi we want to take back our Country for good. Together we want to make NIGERIA beautiful. And together we want to birth and berth a New Deal and a New Day for the masses of our Country. Unfortunately however, the All Knowing Philosopher-King called Charles Chukwuma Soludo thinks we are idiotic narcissists and N**i. May SOLUDO never happen to you.

Soludo is living in the past but wouldn't see because his ego is Olympic. His struggle to reduce a Pan Nigerian Ticket ditto the Peter Obi Presidential Campaign to a regional cm South East quest for power belies his claim to logic and clear thought. And his theistic declaration that Peter Obi cannot win the 2023 Presidential election reeks of unguarded jealousy and unreasonable disdain for figures and statistics. I will not bother to educate and or inform the Solomonic SOLUDO, but pray rather that Soludo does not happen to you.

Pride goes before a fall, and a haughty spirit before destruction says the Holy Book. And the letters of the name Soludo speaks to this reality. Yes, Self Overrating Let's Unhinged Destruction Out SULODO. May revenge and revanchism never blind your heart so bad that you think yourself God. May envy, jealousy and anger never tear into your soul so bad that you think yourself all-knowing. And may you learn some ennobling humility. Indeed may SOLUDO never happen to you.

On Peter Obi, CHEW THIS...

ON SECURITY... Under Peter Obi for 5 out of 8years Anamabra State was the safest in Nigeria. Ask the then IG of Police M.D Abubakar Rtd.

EDUCATION... In 3years, He took Anambra from number 26 to number 1. He revamped the schools and gave them ICT Equipments. Gave back Missionary Schools to the Missions, and supported them with funds and educational materials.

ON INFRASTRUCTURE... He did more connecting roads and bridges, including a 6 lane inroad into Onitsha from the Head Bridge. His strides in INFRASTRUCTURE particularly in his second term, was hailed by a serving APC Minister Dr Chris Ngige on Channels TV. If you know, you know.

FISCAL DISCIPLINE... He remains the Governor with the best record of fiscal discipline since 1999.

He is about the only Governor who did not legislate a pension or personal payoff from the State he governed. He does not draw any resources from Anambra coffers unlike one of his opponents who continues to draw a humongous yearly pension from the State he governed.

He left over 78billion naira in the State coffees, which his successor deployed into building a Cargo and Passenger Airport in Anambra.

He was frugal and effectively cut the cost of governance such that he was able to clear the backlog of pensions and gratuity of all the workers in government. He left office not owing any worker, and not owing any contractor that had finished his job.

PETER OBI'S watch in Anambra cannot not be tarred with lies and falsehood. By far he remains a lucid example of responsible and responsive leadership. PETER IS BETTER than the rest.

Vote Out Irresponsible Leaders, Nwaokobia Jnr Tells Nigerian Youths

Prof. Chris Mustapha Nwaokobia Jnr, Convener “CountryFirst Movement” and a supporter of Peter Obi Presidential candidacy has called on all Nigerian Youths to retire the present generation of irresponsible leaders through the ballot paper come 2023.

Nwaokobia Jnr stated this to mark the two years memorial of the lekki massacre through a statement via his official Twitter and Facebook handle.

He stated that the gruesome carnage and massacre was against a generation that sought to right the wrongs of the most irresponsible government .

He admonished the youth to unsure their voices is heard in the forth coming election through peaceful ballot based People’s Revolution for a New Nigeria.

Recall that the Nigeria army opened fire on peaceful protesters in lekki toll gate on the 20th of October 2022 killing innocent and armless protesters whose demand only was the reform of the Nigeria Police force.

The Nigerian government since then continue to deny the act even as international media outlets indicts the Army in several investigative reports.

Nigeria At 62: Arise O Compatriots, OBI-dience Is Better Than Sacrifice.

Curiously the first words of our National Anthem ARISE, O COMPATRIOTS, NIGERIA'S CALL OBEY were configured for a time as this. Curiously those deep words are perhaps gaining the most fervency since Nigeria chose that National Anthem, and the reason for this fervency is the Movement across Nigeria that is called The OBIDIENTS. Folks, something huge is happening across the nation. And curiously after 62years of Independence, our nation is clearly at the throes of authentic independence from the many troubles with Nigeria.

I was born 11 years after Nigeria's Independence from Britain, I have all my life seen administrations and 'leaders' who claim to have made monstrous sacrifices for Nigeria. Peter Gregory Obi the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party was born 11 months after Independence, so he has obviously seen more of such 'leaders' of 'sacrifice' and therefore has risen to change the narrative. Folks, a NEW NIGERIA is PO-ssible.

At the core of the many faiths that humankind professes is the call to OBI-DIENCE over uninformed and unguarded sacrifice of initiates and or followers of faith. Nigeria craves a NEW DEAL in leadership, Nigerians seek a New Republic of responsible and responsive leadership, and NIGERIA'S CALL is for a nation and leadership that works for the good of ALL.

Apart from Peter Obi who was born about 11months after our Independence, the other three top contenders for the High Office of President come 2023, Rabiu Musa Kwakwanso, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and Abubakar Atiku were born before Nigeria gained Independence from Britain. And most of the other 14 candidates or so were born after Nigeria's Independence. You may wonder why this preamble. I have chosen to make this brief Independence Day intervention as didactic as possible, believing that we shall ultimately resolve to build a nation where PEACE and JUSTICE reigns.

Countrymen and women, we are poised to obey NIGERIA'S CALL for justice, equity, fairness and inclusiveness. Statesmen and women in the Southwest including the Afenifere Group have said so. The Middle Belt/North Central people have said so. The South South people have said so. The wonderful people of the Northwest and the Northeast have in no uncertain terms said that a just and equitable Nigeria is their desire. And the Southeast is committed to this cause. Our Country has chosen to do right, and to the right the wrongs of the past the OBI-diently Yusful Movement have become a massive uniting force across our nation. In no less than 14 States and Cities, the Obidients are out celebrating Nigeria's Independence in monstrously attended marches and rallies. Yes, they are saying that OBI-dience is better than sacrifice. We have very interesting times ahead.

Nigeria is in dire need of leaders who are true to what they say on paper. Nigeria is in great need of leaders who will appropriate her great resources for the common good. And now more than ever is the time to heed the call for a NEW NIGERIA. Indeed 2023 is our date with destiny, and I pray and hope that Nigerians will truly and dedicatedly elect OBI-dience over and above 'leaders' of 'sacrifice'. Yes, we do not need such 'sacrifice' that brought our nation to the nadir, we need a New Dawn centred on sincere OBI-dience to the pristine value of nationhood.

Nigeria is in dire strait because until now we have had 'leaders' of 'sacrifice' who largely sacrificed Nigeria at the altar of self, 'politicians who got to Power promising a lot and left office stealing a whole lot', and we have seen power brokers, power mongers, men and women of power, and power players who denominate the destiny of a nation on the scale of personal greed and avarice. May we not walk that path again.

After 62 years our nation's history is a chequered tale of policy summersaults, a benumbing spectacle of leadership failure, a sad epistle of lost hopes and dreams, a space where education is placed low, a polity of rampaging buccaneers and scavengers who masquerade as leaders, and the tragedy seems intractable. But not anymore.

As we mark the 62nd year of Independence there is a silver lining in the horizon. It is manifestly so, there is a resurgence of HOPE. Today something awesome and great is happening across the nation, yes, Nigerians old and young are pushing through a Peaceful Ballot Based Revolution. Nigerians are determined to change the story. Nigerians are committed to birth and berth a new deal for all. Nigerians are committed to TAKE BACK their Country. Nigerians are poised for a NEW DAY where justice, equity, fairness and genuine brotherhood is summon bonum. And Nigerians are united in Project Rescue Nigeria, that's the CALL that they have chosen to OBEY, and that is why the North and the South have elected OBI-dience over and above sacrifice.

COMPATRIOTS the campaign season is here, and the challenge to rework, reshape and refix Nigeria is before us. If we truly believe that a NEW NIGERIA IS POSSIBLE. If we truly want a better story for the 62 years 'infant' called Nigeria, we must love NIGERIA enough to hand her a new order. We must make the political gladiators who see nothing but personal ambition to realize that the cards have changed, and that Nigerians have chosen to heed the CALL for a nation that works for all.

We have chosen FRUGALITY over PROFLIGACY. We have chosen the PRIMACY of Education over egocentrism and perennial ASUU Strike. We have chosen the Security of Lives and Property over the liberalization of terror, banditry and insecurity. We have chosen PRODUCTION over CONSUMPTION and CORRUPTION. We have chosen the one who will spend our money wisely over those who spend our common patrimony on themselves, their friends and court-jesters alone. We have chosen the one who will revolutionalize the Power/Energy sector above those who profiteer from the energy sector and have left out nation poorer and in darkness. And we have chosen to TAKE BACK our Country for good, for such was the promise at Independence, and such is the CALL and the urgency of now.

Congratulations Nigeria, it feels great to be alive and well to see Nigerians of various creed and clan marching in unison, and united in the call for a NEW DEAL and a NEW DAY. It is beautiful to sing along with our young people and to boldly say that Nigeria and Nigerians are profusely, passionately and profoundly Obidient and Yusful to the CALL and the cause for a NEW NIGERIA. For this cause we live, and such is our unalterable and unalloyed commitment.

Happy Independence Nigeria, WE MOVE, WE WIN.

*Peter Obi As The Face Of A New Nigeria: Impact On Business And Trade.*

A Paper Delivered By Prof. Chris Mustapha Nwaokobia Jnr. At A Seminar Organized By The OBI/DATTI CAMPAIGN ORGANIZATION For Leaders Of Markets And Businesses In The Federal Capital Territory, Abuja On The 7th Day Of September, 2022.

ALL PROTOCOL OBSERVED.

The success of every legitimate Business and trade in any society, State or nation is almost always the sum of the credibility of leadership, the believability of the economic policy of government, and the sincere commitment of leadership to etch new paradigms for the common good.

Where the credibility of leadership is thin the business environment suffers for fear of policy summersaults, self-serving policies and less than proper people oriented trade programs. Where corruption thrives business and trade is jeopardized and jaundiced as a result of fraudulent and self-serving taxes and levies. And where impunity is the name of the monitoring and regulating Agencies, business and trade suffers.

The global call for ease of doing business must be heeded not only on paper but in action. The anti-corruption Agencies must be up and doing, and they must protect legitimate businesses whilst effectively policing and protecting the space against fraudulent and illegal business and trade.

Drawing from the premise above captured, we can appreciate the reason the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party H.E Peter Obi brings a breath of fresh air to the political space. We can understand why there is palpable faith and hope across the nation. And we can connect with the reality and the urgency of now.

For so long has Nigeria and Nigerians coveted a time like this. Our nation and people have craved for a new dispensation and a new order in leadership. The young and the old are unanimous in their choice of the candidacy of Peter Obi as the path to a New Nigeria. Indeed without an ounce of equivocation, Nigerians across creed and clan agree that Peter Obi is the face of a New Nigeria.

Peter Obi comes to the table with amazing score in competency, in capacity, in credibility, in integrity, in passion, in humaneness and humanity, in believability, and Peter Obi is a successful business man and a foremost trader. The impact of a Peter Obi Presidency on Business and trade will therefore be monstrous, magnificent and huge.

Peter Obi understands the language of business and trade. He will ensure that under his watch there will be no wanton and reckless policy summersaults inimical to business and trade. He will ensure that Government Agencies involved with the regulation, monitoring and enforcement of Business and Trade policies are effective, fair, just, efficient, effectual and honest.

He will ensure that critical infrastructure key to business growth and key to trade development are constructed, and that the available ones are maintained. Such critical infrastructure like Power, Roads and the Rail network will like Peter Obi has always said attract the prime attention of government. And this will booster business and trade.

He will ensure that the policies and procedures regarding the ease of doing business is functional and not a mere normative often hyped on paper. He will ensure that businesses and trade are supported having pronounced that his Government will turn the nation and it's economy around by making Nigeria production based. Indeed a Productive economy will open great Business and Trade frontiers locally and internationally. Not only is the 'Production above Consumption' agenda profound, it will drive commerce and engender boisterous trade and business, and it will inspire massive improvement in the standard of living of the average person.

A government that comes to power through the humongous goodwill of the people as evident in the ObiDatti Movement across the nation is most likely going to win the war against insecurity, and pursue far-reaching economic policy rework. It goes without saying therefore that the Agricultural sector will come back alive, that commerce and industry will thrive, and that foreign direct investment will soar, and most definitely it will lead to a boom in Business and Trade.

With improvement in the security of the nation will come a new lease of life for business in Nigeria. And clearly with Peter Obi as the next Commander-in-Chief of Federal Republic of Nigeria God willing will come a resurgence in the Agricultural sector, and improvement in food sufficiency, in Agri-business and in the growth of agro-allied companies, industries and businesses.

A Peter Obi Presidency will network with the World Trade Organization presently headed by a Nigerian Prof Ngozi Okonjo Iweala for the purposes of improving on the nation's balance of Trade and Investment. And shall most definitely restore investor confidence in Nigeria.

When Peter Obi becomes President come May 2023, an administration that gives primacy to fiscal discipline and responsible financial protocol will be in place. That government will review the many levies and taxes that stifle growth in business and trade. That government will ensure that the Central Bank, The Bank of Industry, and all government owned Financial Institutions that should support Trade and Business live true to their brief. And the government will regulate Business and Trade through policies that work for positive growth and progress.

A Peter Obi Presidency shall benefit from the monstrous international goodwill that attends his candidacy, and this will translate to massive foreign direct investment because the international community is keen on doing business with Nigeria, and the credibility and believability of the government in place will go a long way to improving local and international business and trade. Indeed we can comfortably make huge conjectures that a Peter Obi Presidency shall make Nigeria the hub of trade and investment in Africa.

Compatriots, the days ahead are unusual and unusual times demand unusual approach and action. We must chose the path to national rebirth, the path to a nation that works, the path to improved trade and business, the path to patriotism, the path to discipline over impunity, the path to frugality over PROFLIGACY, and the path to a better and secured Nigeria. That path Countrymen and women is Peter Obi, and the pathway is the Labour Party. It is therefore incumbent on all of us knowing that hunger and insecurity is indiscriminate of religion and region. Knowing that joblessness and poverty is indiscriminate of creed or clan to unite and take back our Country for good.

Go tell someone to tell someone that together with Peter Obi and the Labour Party we can birth and berth a NEW NIGERIA that works for all.

Only The DISCERNING Knows His BOUNDS.

My Advice to Citizens Sam Omatseye (The Obi-tuary Man), Reno Omokri et al.

There is a sweltering harmattan of discontent across the land, there is anger in the space, there is hunger everywhere, there is joblessness and unemployment across the space, as hopelessness liters the very place where hope once held sway.

The OBI-diently Yus-ful are not rude and or intemperate, they are victims of a failed system, they WANT to TAKE BACK their COUNTRY for good. They are tired of the OLD. They see in Peter Obi and Datti Baba Ahmed a way to end the jangling discord of poverty, disease, despondency and corruption that defines Nigeria. And their LOYALTY is to Nigeria, not necessarily to Peter Obi, Datti Baba Ahmed or the Labour Party, if you know, you know. So, when you fight, denigrate, disparage and insult Peter Obi, they consider it an insult to the future they crave. They see you as a hater of good, and a purveyor of evil. Get it real, the support is REAL, the following is ORGANIC, and there is a Ballot Based Peaceful Peoples Revolution sweeping through the nation. Only the discerning knows.

Get it straight, you are not up against Peter Obi, you are up against Citizens who want a New Deal for our Dear Country, you are up against students who have been at home on account of ASUU Strike for upward of 5months, you are up against Citizens of a nation that has become largely unsafe. You are up against victims of insecurity, unemployment, hunger, want and poverty. You cannot therefore in selling your OLD worn out products disparage their image of the NEW. Only the discerning will understand this truism.

The Rescue Nigeria Movement that you see across the land is indiscriminate of creed or clan. It is indiscriminate of Region or Religion, so be guided. You provoke the youthful paladins of this redemptive voyage when you try to cast the movement in ethnic and religious colours, so be wise. The ills they seek to correct through the Obi and Datti 2023 Ticket is a national one, do not paint it with ethnic or sectional colours, because it won't stick.

Hunger. Insecurity. Unemployment. Poverty. Banditry. Poor Health Care. Lack of Electricity. Academic Strike...et al does not know your tribe, religion or region, so the redemptive train will definitely not spare those who seek to divide us along religious and regional lines. Only the discerning will understand.

Across the nation is what I call politics unusual, study the tide and mark your strides. A NEW NIGERIA BECKONS. A NEW NIGERIA IS POSSIBLE.
