Today we are glade to inform our investment forum and the general public that the federal government of Nigeria has officially approve the partnership to host the Africa Climate change summit. The Summit, “Nigeria, 2025”, was successfully launched on August 30th,2024 at Hawthorn Hotel, Abuja, with participation of federal and states government’s ministries and agencies, the diplomatic community, CSO and NGOs and coverage by the Nigerian media. https://aicisnigeria.abvig.com/

The presidency though Secretary to the government of the federation (SGF) released the approval for the partnership letter to the Chairman of the planning committee today 29th October 2024.

The programme coordinator of the Environmental Climate Change Adaptation Programme, Yobe state, Nigeria. Mr. Adamu Ibrahim Nguru has visited the secretariat of the planning and organizing committee for Africa infrastructure, Climate change and investment summit, Nigeria 2025. His visit was to acquaint himself with the activities and the planning of the Climate change Summit 2025 Nigeria, and to explore possible opportunity for collaboration.

Hon. Moses O.T Owharo welcome the visit as a good gesture and outlined the objectives and goal of the summit as well as the broad benefit to Nigeria and Africa as whole. The energy transition and carbon emission, the aviation technology and green economy revolution as well as UN activities on climate action. The coordinator was accompanied by some members of his team; Mr. Muhammed Nuhu Alamai, PA to the CP, and Lawal Sherif. Others are Abiodun Obaromi and Engr. The award was given during the Launch of the Africa Bilateral/Multilateral Infrastructure, Climate Change and Investment Summit, 2025, Nigeria. The program was held in collaboration with the Federal government of Nigeria through the secretary's office to the government of Nigeria and other development and diplomatic Key stakeholders at Hawthorn Hotel, Abuja, Nigeria. Moses O.T Owharo, chairman planning and organizing committee (AICIS ), and Mr. Etobaski Okokon, deputy director, public and bilateral affairs, office of the secretary to the government of the federation (OSGF) presidency, Nigeria, after a successful meeting in the Mexico embassy in Abuja on the 4th of September 2024 concerning the planning upcoming Africa infrastructure, climate change & green investment summit & exhibition in Mexico for collaboration and government bilateral relations, support for the event and the embassy participation in AICIS- Nigeria 2025 event. The team plans to host the Africa – Mexico event, so the courtesy call on the Mexican ambassador became necessary.
